The episode opens with Mangal lying awake, unable to sleep. Bhabhi Ji’s advice keeps echoing in her mind—this time she must think for herself. With the final round of the competition only a few hours away, she worries about her blurred vision and the preparations she still has to complete. She gets up, drinks some water, and decides to take her medicine. Because she cannot see clearly, she slowly makes her way to the washroom to wash her hands.
Meanwhile, Sowmya enters the room with dangerous intent. She swaps Mangal’s eye medicine with rat poison, convinced that Mangal will die before morning. She smirks, imagining her plan succeeding. But just as she turns to leave, Mangal opens the washroom door. Fortunately for Sowmya, Mangal’s blurred vision keeps her from noticing her presence. Sowmya quietly slips out of the room.
Mangal returns and picks up the rat poison bottle. She instantly senses that the smell is odd but assumes her medicines have been changed by the doctor. As she lies down, Sowmya imagines Mangal choking and dying—but it is only a fantasy. In reality, Mangal has not yet consumed the pills. She notices the chilly wind blowing in from the window and gets up to close it. When she returns to take her medicine, she unknowingly picks up the rat poison tablets.
Just as she is about to consume them, Kusum walks in and stops her in shock. Kusum asks why she is taking rat poison and says she arrived at exactly the right moment. Mangal explains that she assumed her medicine was placed there as usual. Kusum wonders aloud who placed rat poison in her room. At a distance, Sowmya watches nervously, stressed that her plan failed. Mangal tries to calm Kusum, suggesting maybe a worker mistakenly kept it there. Sowmya attempts to leave quietly, but her saree gets stuck for a moment before she escapes. Kusum then praises Mangal’s heart, reminding her that despite everything Sowmya did, Mangal risked her life to save her.
Elsewhere, Adit is on a phone call with Bhabhi Ji, telling her he will send the presentation. Sowmya barges in and questions who he is speaking to. Adit lies, not wanting her to know the truth. Sowmya becomes dramatic, accusing him and his mother of caring only for Mangal. Adit calmly reminds her that she and their baby are safe today because of Mangal. Sowmya complains that he never gets her gifts. When Adit asks what she wants, she demands a ₹7 lakh necklace. Adit is shocked but agrees, even though he silently worries—his salary cannot handle even a ₹7,000 gift. He leaves helplessly.
Sowmya decides she will not try to harm Mangal again, fearing she might get caught. She also thinks that since Mangal is already injured, she may not be able to compete in the final round anyway.
Mangal tries applying eye drops but struggles due to her weak vision. Kusum arrives and helps her. She also gives her some gajar ka halwa and asks her to keep her eyes closed for fifteen minutes.
Neil enters and realises that Mangal cannot see him clearly. He takes advantage of the moment, steals money from her bag, and dances mischievously in front of her. As he tries to leave, Mangal grabs his ear. Neil drops the money in shock and asks how she caught him. Mangal replies that although her vision is blurry, she is not blind. She warns him not to follow the wrong path and offers help if he needs it. Neil agrees and leaves. Mangal decides she must guide him toward a better future. She checks the time—12:30—and prepares to leave for the competition.
At the venue, Sowmya tells Bhabhi Ji that Mangal will not come and even if she does, she cannot cook. She insists they begin the finale. Bhabhi Ji refuses and says they will wait for Mangal. Sowmya argues that Mangal cannot see, so how can she take part? As she gestures dramatically, her hand hits a glass bowl—and that very moment, Mangal arrives and catches the glass jar just in time, surprising everyone.
