Saumiya insists she cooked it herself, but Kusum challenges her to name the dal used in the khichdi. When she gives the wrong answer, Kusum accuses her of lying. Mangal confronts her, asking why she felt the need to order food. Saumiya admits she can’t cook for seven people—or even for one properly—and apologizes, explaining that she tried to help Mangal but failed.

Kusum expresses disappointment and says Saumiya could’ve just told the truth. Mangal criticizes her for risking their health—especially since Papa avoids oily food and Ishana has allergies. Kusum scolds Saumiya for her carelessness. Saumiya breaks down in tears, apologizing. Adit says he’s disappointed, and Saumiya walks away, crying. Kusum comments on how modern girls underestimate the effort it takes to manage a household. She praises Mangal’s dedication and says not everyone is cut out for such responsibility. Saumiya angrily vows to show Mangal her place.

Meanwhile, Karthik returns home. Lakshmi offers to serve him food, but Gayatri redirects her to handle the pooja preparations and décor since media and guests will arrive the next day.

Later, Saumiya admits her mistake to everyone. She apologizes, saying she’s not worthy of their love and feels jealous of Mangal’s life. She confesses that she’s unloved by her boyfriend and parents, and that she hurt the only people who showed her affection. She decides to leave. Mangal suggests she shouldn’t leave alone at night, but Kusum stops her, saying they won’t be careless like her. Kusum advises her to stay and learn to change herself instead of running away. Saumiya promises never to lie again and hugs Kusum gratefully.

Kusum checks if everything is ready for the pooja, and Mangal confirms.

The next morning, Mangal performs the pooja with Adit. Ishana, Akshar, and Saumiya join in. Saumiya pauses briefly during the aarti. The kids then leave for school.

At Lakshmi’s house, guests start arriving. The media clicks photos of Karthik and Lakshmi. When asked about the secret to a happy marriage, Karthik says couples should be friends and support each other. Lakshmi adds that trust and open communication are key. Sanjana asks them to pose closely for a photo. Lakshmi then heads to manage the food.

Adit calls Mangal and tells her to visit Gayatri while he handles the kids. She initially declines, but he insists. However, it was actually Saumiya using a voice app to mimic Adit. Mangal leaves.

At school, Akshar waits for Mangal. His teacher is surprised she hasn’t arrived and notes that Mangal is usually punctual. Akshar continues to wait anxiously. Meanwhile, Mangal reaches Lakshmi’s house and hugs her. Lakshmi assures her that everything is fine, and Karthik jokes that she doesn’t take care of him. Mangal laughs. She tells Lakshmi that Adit was supposed to pick Akshar, so she came here instead. Mangal then heads to visit Gayatri.

Back at school, Akshar grows increasingly worried. The teacher contacts Adit to inform him that Mangal hasn’t arrived to pick up Akshar. Alarmed, Adit immediately rushes to the school. The teacher looks around but realizes Akshar is no longer there. She begins searching the premises as Adit arrives.

Adit frantically searches for Mangal, fearing something might have happened to her. A mysterious woman begins following him. Meanwhile, Mangal is returning home, unaware that Akshar is walking alone on the road with the same woman trailing behind him.
