The episode begins with Soumya pleading with Adit not to believe what others have told him. She hugs him, but he pushes her away, saying he is not foolish and can see her manipulations. He reminds her of her past actions — coming to his house, sitting in the mandap, making him sign papers, and now sending him to jail on false domestic violence charges. Adit says his respect means everything, and she has humiliated him.
Soumya denies everything, but Adit confronts her with the photo of her foot captured during the call to the police. She insists Lakshmi edited it to frame her and claims Mangal and Kusum have also been manipulated. Soumya accuses Lakshmi of plotting against her to save herself. She becomes emotional, breaking a vase and a mirror, and even attempts self-harm to prove her innocence. Adit stops her, but she says she cannot live without his trust.
She pushes Adit to think about his own happiness, suggesting that if he tells his mother he loves her, she will eventually accept their relationship. Adit finally agrees, saying he will follow his heart, divorce Mangal, and marry Soumya.
Elsewhere, Adit and Mangal’s wedding frame falls and breaks. Kusum takes it as a bad omen, but Mangal brushes it off, saying things can be fixed. Kusum feels some things, like memories, cannot be replaced.
Soumya meets Lipika, pressuring her to do as instructed or risk having her private moments exposed. Lipika grows anxious, but Soumya warns this is her last chance. Meanwhile, Sanjana informs Gayatri that Karthik has decorated the house for Lakshmi’s surprise birthday party. Gayatri realises Omesh distracted her to keep her away from the celebration.
At home, Adit coldly tells Mangal that their marriage will soon end. Shanti notices Lipika trying to leave with some papers and questions her. Lipika claims they are college papers, but Shanti remains suspicious. Mangal fixes the broken wedding frame and tells Kusum that, like the frame, things can heal even if they change. Kusum praises her ability to mend things.
As the family prepares to go to Lakshmi’s birthday party, Mangal asks Adit to join, but he refuses, saying he has work.
