Meanwhile, Mangal anxiously watches from the sidelines, concerned for Lakshmi’s safety. In the midst of her intense battle with the thief, Karthik rushes back just in time to deliver a blow that leads to the thief’s arrest. Lakshmi gratefully thanks him for saving her mother’s cherished possessions, and he replies with a heartfelt sentiment about the special connection between mothers and their children. He understands why it is so important for Lakshmi to retrieve the bracelet and offers to accompany her to the temple. Despite his kind offer, she politely declines as she knows Mangal has been waiting for her there.
Pandit Ji says the pooja cannot be performed in 15 minutes. As Lakshmi tries to fix her bracelet, Karthik kindly offers to help and ties it for her. Meanwhile, Mangal repeatedly calls out to Lakshmi, who informs them that she is late for the pooja. She frantically searches for an auto while Karthik suggests taking her to the temple himself. At the temple, Mangal prays for Lakshmi’s well-being and happiness. When Lakshmi finally arrives, Mangal embraces her, and they pray for each other’s prosperity. The Pandit acknowledges Lakshmi’s timely arrival, and Mangal asks where she is. She explained that the bus was delayed, but Mangal reassured her that everything went smoothly without any issues. Upon hearing about a poetry competition, Lakshmi doubts participating as she only writes for her mother instead of professionally. However, Mangal assures her that she writes beautifully and encourages her to participate, which will surely bring success. When asked about the event timing, Lakshmi reveals it is at 11 o’clock, and Mangal wishes her luck for the competition ahead.
Kartik is working from home. He told his friend that the client would be delighted if we sent these numbers. We did so well. They laugh. Mangal laughs at him. She asks if it was a joke. Mangal says we are making a plan for our client. We added inflated numbers to the projection. Do you know what projections are? Mangal says no, then why are you asking? You don’t know anything. Please don’t show me these teeth and take these clothes out of the room to fold. Mangal says I had to tell you something.
He is participating in a poetry contest. I know he will win. He says what a joke. Your 10th failed sister will win it? Stop dreaming. But anyone can start these days. Karthik was also dumb in studies, but he became a sister. So Lakshmi might become one as well. They will make a good couple. Both duffers. The loser will write, and the other will sing. Both zeroes.
Then Karthik leaves. Sanjana says he was going to meet his girlfriend. Gayatri says he doesn’t have a girlfriend. It would be best if you focused on your son. She says that’s how boys are. They get a girlfriend and discard their mothers. Gayatri says no. Gayatri says stop it. Sanjana says I’m not saying what you did to my brother’s mother, but you will face the same fate. I will never lose Karthik.
Lakhsmi arrives for the competition, but unfortunately, she does not have a pass. The manager informs her that there is no registration under her name. Lakshmi’s sister registered for her. The manager then questions if she has sent in her published content. Lakhsmi explains that writing is just a hobby for her, and she does not publish her work. However, the manager stated that only professionals could participate in this event. Lakhsmi suggests giving new writers a chance, to which the manager replies by asking her to leave. As she is about to depart, Lakhsmi asks if there is any possibility of being included. The manager responds by saying that if a celebrity were to recommend her, they could reconsider. Disappointed, Lakhsmi suggests the manager at least read her poetry as she doesn’t need recommendations. Sadly, the manager informs her that this is the rule and she must leave. Just as Lakhsmi turns to go, Karthik arrives in his car, and fans flock around him.
Karthik’s poster gets stuck on Lakshmi’s dupatta. The manager asks how it got there. It’s covering Karthik’s face. Lakshmi asks how to get it down. Karthik sees her and gets on a crane. Lakshmi also hangs on it. Karthik pulls her up and says, “Lakshmi, you here.” He drapes her dupatta around her, and she apologizes. He says, “Don’t be scared.” She says thank you.
