The episode begins with Mangal arriving at the job site. The men mock her, saying she cannot handle the work and that cooking in a family kitchen is different from managing bulk food orders. Mangal firmly insists that she can do it and asks for a chance to prove herself. When asked to lift a sack of flour and make halwa, she struggles at first but recalls Soumya’s taunts and her own determination to support her children. Summoning her strength, she manages to cook the halwa alone despite burning her hand.

Soumya secretly follows Mangal, shocked to see her working. However, when she tries to expose her, she finds another woman cooking and is left confused. The manager later pays Mangal only ₹500, while the men received ₹700. When she questions him, he says she should be satisfied with the chance she got as a woman. Mangal refuses to back down and insists on equal pay for equal work. The manager dismisses her but admits she did well and promises to call her again when needed.

Meanwhile, Karthik is rehearsing when Jiya suddenly hugs him. Karthik pushes her away, reminding her that he is now married to Lakshmi and happy with her. Jiya, however, pleads with him to remember their past love and admits she regrets letting him go. Karthik makes it clear that their relationship is over and asks her not to cross boundaries again. Later, Lakshmi visits Karthik’s office to surprise him, but Jiya is already there. Feeling awkward, Lakshmi leaves, and Karthik promises to meet her at home.

Back at home, Kusum congratulates Shanti on Lipika’s roka and asks Soumya to prepare tea and refreshments for the guest. Soumya grumbles but follows orders. Later, she overhears Shanti placing a catering order for the function. Soumya cancels it behind her back and instead books Mangal’s new manager, scheming to humiliate Mangal by making her cook at her own sister’s roka ceremony.

Mangal returns home and hides her new job from everyone, telling Kusum she was at the temple. Unaware of Soumya’s plan, Mangal wonders how long she can keep her secret safe.
