The episode begins with Sowmya asking Kusum if she wants juice. Kusum refuses. Sowmya then offers the spiked juice to Mangal, but Mangal politely declines. Irritated, Sowmya angrily throws the juice mixed with sleeping tablets into a plant. She thinks to herself that if Mangal refuses to eat anything, how will she make her consume the sleeping pills?

Kusum tells Mangal that even though she is fasting, it is Visarjan day, so she should at least eat a banana for strength. Mangal agrees. Just as she is about to take a bite, the doctor calls regarding Adit’s therapy, and Mangal steps aside. Sudesh calls out to Kusum, and she also leaves the room. Seeing an opportunity, Sowmya injects sleeping medicine into the banana and places it back on the table.

Mangal returns and begins preparing laddoos again. Kusum reminds her to eat the banana first. As Mangal lifts it, a ball suddenly hits her hand, and the banana slips and falls. Adit quickly apologises. Kusum scolds him for being careless. Sowmya fumes inside, thinking that Adit has once again ruined her plan.

Later, Mangal asks the children to offer flowers to Bappa and pray for Adit’s recovery. The kids agree and pray sincerely.

After the pooja, Kusum asks Sudesh to fill her maang with kumkum. Sudesh lovingly does it. Adit observes the moment and asks why Sudesh applied something on Kusum’s forehead. Kusum explains that a husband applies sindoor on his wife after marriage. Adit remembers his wedding photo with Mangal and immediately starts looking for sindoor.

Adit walks toward Mangal and tries to fill her maang with sindoor, but Mangal stops him instantly. Everyone is shocked. She asks him why he is doing this. Adit replies that since he is her husband, he should fill her maang just like his father did. Mangal gently refuses, saying he cannot do this. Adit gets upset and says he doesn’t like her, then walks away. The children follow him. Sowmya smiles, relieved that Mangal stopped him.

A lady asks Mangal to prepare abhooshan for Visarjan. Mangal agrees and heads to the storeroom to get the materials. While the family performs aarti outside, Mangal begins to feel dizzy in the storeroom. The entire room is filled with heavy dhoop smoke—a trap laid by Sowmya. Mangal collapses unconscious. Sowmya secretly watches, smirking with satisfaction.

Adit wonders why Mangal hasn’t come to talk to him after their argument. He assumes she is ignoring him again and calls her bad, unaware she is fighting for her life.

Sowmya checks the storeroom and sees that Mangal is completely unconscious. She drags her toward a large sandook, locks her inside, and thinks that she will not let Adit get better until Kapil is punished. She adds that this year, along with Bappa, Mangal’s Visarjan will also happen.

Sowmya then tells a lady to take the sandook along with Bappa’s Visarjan items. The lady agrees and sends the men to pick it up. They unknowingly lift the sandook containing Mangal and carry it toward the idol.

Adit searches for Mangal again and asks Sowmya if she has seen her. Sowmya avoids the question. Adit, upset, leaves, thinking Mangal doesn’t care about him. Kusum wonders why Mangal hasn’t come with the Visarjan items yet.

The men place the sandook near Ganpati Bappa for Visarjan. The family has no idea that Mangal is locked inside, unconscious and unable to call for help. Sowmya watches with satisfaction, convinced that Mangal will die today.

When Kusum asks the ladies to wait until Mangal arrives, Sowmya tries to convince her not to postpone the Visarjan. The ladies insist on starting. Kusum reluctantly agrees and goes with them in the tempo, still hoping Mangal will join them soon.

But Mangal remains trapped, fighting for breath inside the sandook.

Mangal regains consciousness inside the sandook and panics. Meanwhile, she thinks about saving Kapil from going to jail as her life hangs in the balance.
