Mangal Lakshmi 7th November 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Shanti asking Mangal if Adit will come to the roka. Mangal insists that the relationship should not start with lies, but Shanti argues she must do this for Lipika so at least one of her daughters finds happiness in marriage. She asks Mangal to look after the decorations while she manages the caterers. Mangal, worried about paying school fees, silently agrees.
Shanti informs Kusum that Mangal is present. Akshar adds that Mama already told him. Kusum wonders why Mangal did not mention it herself. Meanwhile, Soumya manipulates Adit emotionally, saying he gets attached only to his family and questions whether she is not family too. Kusum overhears and confronts her, calling Soumya a curse. Adit defends Soumya, accusing his mother of always favouring Mangal. Soumya pretends innocence, claiming she only encouraged Adit to attend Lipika’s function for Akshar’s sake. Impressed by her act, Adit agrees to go with her, hoping to win his mother’s approval. Soumya secretly feels excited about the drama that will follow.
Elsewhere, Gayatri questions Karthik about his contract. He tells her he is cancelling it, but she warns it will ruin his reputation and finances. Lakshmi advises him to step out of his comfort zone, assuring him he will enjoy the work once he begins. Gayatri supports Lakshmi, reminding Karthik that his mother cannot be wrong.
Meanwhile, Mangal works in the kitchen. A male worker mocks her, saying women should be grateful to even get such jobs. Mangal firmly replies that she is hired for her skills, not her gender. While cooking, she discovers the paneer is fake and made with harmful powder. She warns the men it is dangerous and threatens to complain to the police. At first, they dismiss her concerns, but when she insists, they allow her to use better ingredients. Determined, Mangal throws away the fake paneer and quickly prepares the food, hoping to finish before the guests arrive.
The event begins, and Mangal enters with Lipika. She apologises for not bringing a gift, but Lipika hugs her and says she is not upset. Emotional, Lipika admits she wronged Mangal in the past, but Mangal consoles her, wishing her a happy married life filled with love and understanding. Just then, Mangal collides with Adit. She ignores him, but he arrogantly tells her she should be grateful he even came. Mangal firmly replies that she knows exactly why he is there.
As the groom’s family arrives, Shanti asks Mangal to bring the aarti. Suddenly, the police arrive, shocking everyone. The inspector announces they are here to arrest Mangal. Shanti demands to know the reason, and the officers reveal they are food inspectors who received a complaint that Mangal mixed chemicals into the food. Shanti defends her daughter, but Adit taunts that “halwai is also Mangal.” Channu points at her, identifying her as Mangal. The inspector asks if she works with Channu Halwai, leaving the entire family stunned.
