When questioned about her bond with Kusum, Soumya calls her a mother figure. Mangal counters, accusing her of disrespecting her real mother and being selfish. The argument escalates, and Mangal challenges Soumya’s presence in their home. Shanti confronts Kusum, asking what she had revealed to Mangal. Sudesh and Kusum ask Mangal what she found out, and she reveals it was divine intervention at the temple that led her to the truth.
A flashback shows Mangal meeting Shalini at the temple, confronting her about Soumya’s lies. Shalini exposes that Soumya fled her home on her own, abandoning her parents. Her father even suffered a heart attack because she ignored them. Mangal accuses Soumya of betraying both her family and theirs. Shanti urges Kusum to throw her out, but Adit intervenes and asks her to calm down. Soumya continues to lie, insisting her parents abandoned her, but Mangal rebukes her, declaring she is fasting and won’t lie in front of God.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi prepares for the pooja at home. Karthik arrives and the maid reveals he’s fasting for Lakshmi too, which impresses Sanjana but irritates Gayatri.
Back at Mangal’s home, Soumya finally cracks under pressure and accuses her mother of being controlling, saying she’s independent and not like Mangal—a housewife with no ambition. She belittles Mangal, but Kusum slaps her hard and defends Mangal, saying Soumya isn’t even worthy to stand beside her.
Mangal then calmly points out the contradiction—if Soumya is so independent, why is she still living in their home? Kusum calls out Soumya’s lies and toxic presence, and finally, in a moment of rage and resolution, throws Soumya out of the house. Soumya tries to get Adit to speak up for her, but even he stays silent. Kusum shuts the door on her, declaring she has seen enough of Soumya’s drama.
As Soumya stands outside, she vows to return and claim her “rights” in the house.
Later, Shanti thanks Kusum for standing by Mangal. Kusum assures her that Mangal will always have her support. But Shanti delivers a chilling warning—if Kusum doesn’t act within a week, she will tell Mangal about Adit and Soumya’s affair. Kusum refuses to believe her son could do such a thing.
Elsewhere, Karthik refuses to eat or take medicine from Gayatri. Lakshmi convinces him, but the tension with Gayatri remains. Meanwhile, Soumya keeps texting Adit. He finally answers, telling her not to blackmail him and blaming her for all the mess.
Mangal performs the pooja with her family. Kusum invites Adit to join, but he makes excuses, saying he needs to fuel the car. When Mangal tells him to do it tomorrow, Soumya texts him again—threatening to come to the house if he doesn’t meet her.
