Mangal is taken aback upon learning that Ishana did not visit Neha as planned. She immediately tries calling Ishana, but the call goes unanswered. A sense of panic sets in as Mangal wonders where Ishana could have gone. Adit reminds her that she has permitted Ishana to leave. Meanwhile, Neha also tries calling Ishana, and Somiya requests Sher to turn her phone on silent. In a concerned tone, Neha asks Ishana where she is and informs her that her parents are worried. Similarly, Ishana asks Neha about her whereabouts and urges her to talk to their parents. Fearing for her safety, Mangal repeatedly asks where Ishana could be while Ishana is in a state of panic.
According to Mangal, Neha visited here instead of you going to her place. Adit mentions that Ishana is currently on her way home. However, Ishana abruptly ends the call and reveals to Somiya that she was caught in a lie. Somiya reminds her that they still need to finish their practice, but Ishana insists they all go out for lunch. Due to this, she had to make up an excuse to come here. But now that her lie has been uncovered, she has to leave. Somiya asks if Adit is taking her out, and Ishana affirms this. When Somiya calls her parents and says she wants to talk about marriage, Ishana chimes in, saying she is ready to tie the knot.
Lakshmi is responsible for making the diyas, while Sanjana observes her with a frown. “I will destroy them all,” she declares. Adit questions Mangal’s decision to send her, asking if he has no sense of responsibility. Kusum chimes in, blaming Sanjana’s lies rather than Mangal for the situation. “Who is she learning all this from?” Kusum wonders aloud. Mangal shares his concern about Sanjana’s behavior, and Ishana arrives home just then. When asked where she was, Ishana responds with a rumbling stomach: “I am very hungry.”
Mangal inquires about Ishana’s whereabouts, to which she replies that she went to Sneha’s house. He clarifies by mentioning Neha, but she corrects him and reiterates that she went to Sneha’s place. They worked on a nervous system project together, and now Ishana feels hungry. Adit interjects, asking Ishana to show him the project. After inspecting it, he suggests grabbing some ice cream. Despite her hesitation, Adit takes her out for ice cream.
Mangal is afraid, but Kusum reassures her that Adit will handle the situation. Upon seeing her notebook, Mangal realizes it’s empty and accuses the teacher of lying about a project. Adit appears upset, but Kusum believes he will speak calmly with her. They both agree that children shouldn’t be scolded publicly. When Adit returns home without Ishana, Mangal inquires about her whereabouts. He asks for coffee, and she presses again, asking where Ishana is. He admits he left her at the hotel alone, leaving Kusum shocked.
Mangal expresses his opinion by stating that he is the child’s father. He also admits that the child has recently begun to tell lies. He had previously mentioned that he would consider sending her to a hostel if she didn’t change. Kusum questions his decision, to which Papa responds, saying it’s inappropriate. He further explains that, as her father, he has already given warnings. He wants his daughter to succeed, unlike her mother, who only seems interested in dance even though she has exams approaching.
You ought to have informed us once, says Mangal. My kid and I were unable to meet. It’s possible that she feels punished. Adit claims that she is being held accountable for your errors. You can’t teach her or deal with her. You are so worthless. We wouldn’t have to do this if you understood. You couldn’t even mention the children, could you? How will she live there, asks Mangal? Her stomach is upset. Who is going to look after her?
Adit claims her happiness will be guaranteed there, as all kids reside there. Kusum inquires about the hostel, to which Adit proudly responds that she has enrolled in the top educational institution. She firmly believes this decision will pave the way for her success. When Mangal suggests sending her daughter next year, Adit reminds them of her previous warning and solid determination. However, Mangal pleads with emotion for Adit to reconsider and return their daughter. In a last attempt, he promises to talk with their child. Despite Mangal’s request, Adit instructs them to pack her belongings as she needs them delivered immediately.
“Mangal pleads, asking for his daughter to be returned. Adit answers a call and informs the person that he cannot talk now. Somiya sobs, admitting her mistake of unintentionally deleting all project files. She is unsure of what steps to take next. Adit questions how such a big mistake could have happened, especially with an important meeting approaching. Somiya begs him to join her at the cafe to redo the presentation using raw data she still possesses. Adit agrees but also mentions his upcoming office work. Despite this, Mangal interjects, insisting on speaking with Adit about returning Ishana. However, Adit reiterates that he must leave for work and does not want to hear anything further.”
As Adit enters the cafe, Somiya intercepts him, and he immediately expresses his stress. She responds with a hint of sarcasm, wishing he showed the same concern for their relationship. However, she quickly reassures him that nothing is wrong and purposely calls him there. She reminds him that they both lied earlier in the day before he asked if she was playing games. She assures him that she will end their childish hide-and-seek and reveals that her parents are inside, waiting to meet the man she plans to marry. This news leaves Adit stunned.
Mangal contacted the hotel and requested to speak with Ishana. However, she was informed that it went against their policy. Despite explaining that she is Ishana’s mother, Mangal’s plea is denied. She expresses frustration at being unable to communicate with her daughter, as she was told Ishana was doing well and had eaten and was in her room. Just then, Akshar arrives and embraces Mangal, revealing his reluctance to return to the hostel.
Adit inquires, and Somiya invites them inside. He questions the nature of the joke. Shalini and her husband arrive. Somiya’s father expresses relief at finally meeting them after waiting so long. Shalini suggests they could have visited their house instead. They compliment Adit and Somiya as a great couple.
