A man arrived at Lakshmi’s store, causing her to immediately accuse him of being a thief. In response, he covered her mouth and revealed himself as Karthik. Curious, she questioned why he had come, noting the already existing drama. Karthik explained that he had worn a mask to avoid detection and assisted Lakshmi when she stumbled. She expressed concern over others potentially seeing him there and asked again for an explanation. He responded by apologizing for his involvement in tarnishing her reputation and expressed how terrible it made him feel. Karthik clarified that while he was accustomed to dealing with this, hearing people speak badly about Lakshmi struck a nerve, compelling him to come in person to make amends. She suggested he could have called instead of showing up unannounced, but Karthik believed that apologies hold more weight when done face-to-face and even offered to beg for forgiveness if necessary. However, Lakshmi assured him there was no need for such extreme measures and thanked him for understanding the situation from her perspective.
Mangal contacts Lakshmi to inquire about her well-being and the retrieval of her phone. Lakshmi confirms that she has found her phone but had to borrow Sonu’s as hers was not functioning. She explains that Shanti did not physically harm her but was simply upset. Concerned for her safety, Mangal asks if she is alright. Lakshmi responds by asking if anyone else has spoken to Mangal regarding the situation, to which they both confirm that no one has. Lakshmi shares that there was unnecessary commotion due to her dupatta getting caught and Karthik offering assistance. Despite this, Mangal trusts Lakshmi’s character and assures them that Karthik is decent and apologises for any inconvenience caused. Lakshmi then suggests wearing a red banarsi saree for the upcoming pooja since it is Jeju’s favourite colour, which Mangal agrees. They conclude by reminding each other to arrive on time for the pooja ceremony.
Jia calls Karthik, but he worries she might be upset with him. She exclaims, “What the hell? You and that girl, Lakshmi – what were you doing with her?” He replies, “I didn’t do anything,” she responds, “The whole world saw. You were helping her put on a dupatta. Rumours are spreading that you got your dream girl. Is it true?” Karthik apologizes, explaining that he was at a competition and merely assisted Lakshmi when her dupatta got stuck. Someone recorded the incident, and now it’s causing trouble. He added that he had even apologized to Lakshmi and planned to call Jia next. However, she points out that he had time to see Lakshmi but did not call her.
Lakshmi is currently of great importance. According to him, the fault does not lie with her. Some individuals were making foolish remarks about her. Jia believes that she has masterminded it all. He assures that Lakshmi is genuinely innocent and straightforward. She notes that these seemingly innocent girls are the most cunning, knowing how to manipulate men. I’m sure your sister-in-law, Mangal, was also involved in the scheme. Karthik cuts her off sternly, urging her not to speak ill of Mangal and Lakshmi, who are kind-hearted. She scoffs at his defence, commenting on how he has found his perfect match. She then abruptly ends the call as Karthik’s phone suddenly shuts off.
As Adit purchases a bouquet, Lakshmi arrives with Sonu and notices him. Assuming the flowers are for Mangal, she records a video of him. While on the phone with someone, Adit happily changes the bouquet. Lakshmi questions his choice of sunflowers instead of red roses, knowing that Mangal is allergic to them. Adit assures someone on the phone that it will be a surprise, but Lakshmi reminds him of Mangal’s allergy. The shopkeeper informs Adit that the sunflowers are not fresh and suggests red roses instead. After some contemplation, Adit chooses the red roses for Didi. Lakshmi tries to catch up with him but gets interrupted by a client call. As Adit leaves, Lakshmi notices his card on the ground and tells Sonu about his gesture towards Didi before they both continue on their way with cotton candy in hand.
Mangal gets ready at home in a red saree. She imagines Adit coming, but it’s Akshar. Adit meets a girl in the park. He says to Somaiya and hugs her. He gives her flowers. Mangal asks where Adit is. Somaiya says it’s so gorgeous. Adit says you’re even prettier. He says close your eyes. He takes her to the table he decorated for their date. She says what a lovely surprise. Is today special?
He expresses that every moment spent with you is unique and that he could see you like this forever. He attributes everything in his life, including his work and success, to you. As they enjoy their date, they toast with champagne. He acknowledges that the stress from work is only bearable because of her. She assures him that she will always be by his side. Pleadingly, he asks her to stay with him forever. As he presents her with Grah Parish’s first invitation card, she compliments the design, and he reveals that it was her creation. He then urges her to attend the event as it would not be complete without her presence.
Shanti asks Lipika to get ready, as Mangal has requested her presence. Lakshmi informs them that all the necessary gifts and items have already been prepared. Chacha compliments her appearance, and Shanti inquires about their intended destination. Upon learning that it is to attend a gathering at Mangal’s in-laws’ house, Shanti expresses concern over potentially causing further embarrassment after the video incident. She firmly tells Lipika to stay home instead of risking trouble with Mangal’s in-laws. Despite Chacha’s suggestion to confirm with Mangal first, Shanti insists on not taking any chances and decides for them to stay home. As they all leave, Lakshmi remains alone at home.
