The episode begins with Adit reluctantly sitting for the pooja. Soumya texts him, threatening that if he doesn’t come to meet her, she will show up at his house. Kusum notices Adit distracted on the phone and reminds him to stay present. She urges Mangal to forget what happened yesterday and treat today as a fresh start.
Adit gets ready for office, but Kusum stops him. She tells him that since Mangal is fasting for him, it’s his duty to break her fast. Though uninterested, Adit hurriedly completes the ritual by giving Mangal water. As he prepares to leave, he gets a call and says he’ll be at the café shortly—this raises Kusum’s suspicion. She remembers Shanti’s warning and decides to follow Adit.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi calls Mangal and learns that she has broken her fast. Lakshmi expresses relief that Kusum supported Mangal against Soumya’s manipulations. Sudesh asks Mangal where Kusum went, and she reveals that Kusum went after Adit.
Shanti also calls Kusum, pressuring her to take swift action or she will expose Adit’s affair herself. Kusum insists on handling it and begins tailing Adit’s car with the driver.
At the café, Kusum sees Adit meeting with a female colleague and breathes a sigh of relief—unaware that Soumya is hiding nearby. Adit had spotted Kusum and had Soumya hide. When Kusum casually says she came to get ice cream for the kids, Soumya quietly tries to sneak out. Kusum brings up Soumya, saying she wants to meet her again. Adit deflects, claiming he doesn’t know where she is.
Unconvinced, Kusum threatens to visit Shalini or the office. Soumya makes a run for it before Kusum can catch her inside.
Elsewhere, Karthik breaks Lakshmi’s fast, revealing that he too had fasted all day. Lakshmi is touched, but Gayatri becomes furious, fearing Karthik’s health. Despite Sajana’s praise for Karthik’s romantic gesture—likening him to his father—Gayatri storms off angrily, blaming Lakshmi for the risk to her son’s health.
Back outside the café, Kusum spots Soumya and confronts her. Soumya pretends to be staying nearby, but Kusum offers her a second chance. She tells Soumya to bring her boyfriend that evening so they can meet and discuss marriage. She firmly insists he come at 7 PM.
Soumya, caught off guard, nervously looks at Adit. Before he can decline, Kusum turns to him and asks if that time works. Under pressure, Adit agrees.
Unbeknownst to them, Mangal overhears everything through a phone call. What will she do with this truth?
