In preparing everything, Mangal wonders why Adit isn’t here and why Lakshmi isn’t either. Lipika says we are here. Mangal asks where Laksmi is. She says come in. Shanti says she had to go to the shop. She had work. She says come in. Mangal says, but I spoke to her. She was so happy that she didn’t come. Mangal asks why you didn’t bring her.
Shanti says she’s ashamed of us in front of the whole world. Your in-laws must be so angry at us. Kusum says we’re not angry. When did we say we’re angry? Mangal is right. Lakshmi should be here. This wasn’t her fault at all. Mangal will be sad if Lakshmi doesn’t come. She asks Mangal to call Lakshmi and ask her to attend.
It’s Lakshmi who’s crying when Mangal calls her. She tells her I would call you, but I’ve been working at the shop, so I can’t come. Mangal says to turn on the video. Don’t lie. Come here fast. I’ve spoken with Mom. She asks Shanti to get her to come here. Shanti says, “Come here; everyone is missing you, and Mangal wants you here.” Adit is missing. Manal wonders where Adit is.
Adit is accompanying Somaiya, while Lakshmi’s auto suddenly halts on their route. Upon realizing the vehicle refuses to start, Gayatri and Karthik are en route. Seeking a different mode of transportation, Lakshmi searches for another auto. Gayatri notices that Jia and her son have constantly disagreed since their viral video surfaced. She expresses concern over the situation, hoping that Jia will end things with him because of it. Soon enough, both Karthik and Gayatri spot Lakshmi on the street and signal for the driver to halt. Recognizing her as someone who was planning to head over to Mangal’s place, Karthik invites her to join them on their journey. Unsure at first, Lakshmi declines but is eventually convinced by Gayatri and Karthik to accompany them.
As Gayatri watches Jia dial Karthik’s number, he agrees to meet up. She eagerly comments that Jia is determined to sort things out. Turning to Lakshmi, she exclaims, “I’m glad Karthik invited you to join us!” Lakshmi politely responds with a “Thank you, Aunty.” Meanwhile, Jia becomes upset and asks, “Wait, is this the same Lakshmi? How could you?” Karthik quickly explains it is just a coincidence. Frustrated, Jia ends the call abruptly. Concerned, Gayatri asks Karthik if everything is alright. He assures her it is. Then Lakshmi checks in, and Gayatri replies with a simple “yes.” However, deep down, she thinks about how she must also put Lakshmi in her place.
In Kusum’s words, Mangal prepared everything today, and Shanti says you taught her everything. Mangal is grateful to have in-laws like you, a husband like Karthik, and such a big house. I hear your new home is even more significant. We’ll give you the sofa. It’s a small gift. Bhushan says yes, we’ll. Kusum says no, it’s not needed. Shanti says we’d like to give it to our daughter. Kusum says okay then.
As the bell rings, Karthik and Gayatri enter, followed by Lakshmi. The unexpected arrival of the trio surprises everyone. In a show of gratitude, Karthik hands Mangal a bouquet while Gayatri presents her with a gift. Kusum remarks on their arrival together. Karthik explains that they bumped into Lakshmi on the way and invited her to join them. The children happily engage in activities with Karthik. Bhushan inquires about something, to which Kusum suggests calling Adit. Mangal tries but fails to reach him as he is busy dancing with Somaiya. Not noticing his phone, Karthik explains that Adit may be occupied with work and driving.
She asks Lipika to find out why Lakshmi came with Karthik. Mangal tells Lakshmi if she doesn’t come, I won’t do the pooja. Lipika asks how did you come with Karthik? She says my auto stopped working. I found them on the way. Lipika says someone made another video. I wish my luck were as good as yours. Mangal says don’t be so immature. Lakshmi says Gayatri didn’t say anything. I was asked to come with them.
I’m so glad that everything is okay, Mangal says. Lakshmi says you look so pretty. It’s Adit’s favourite colour, like his anger. She says don’t say that. Work stresses him out, and I also make mistakes. Lakshmi says you’re blushing. She asks if you got flowers. Mangal says pooja flowers? Lakshmi thinks about the bouquet. She thinks Adit is going to bring it along. Mangal will be delighted.
Kusum says Gayatri was right. Jia is enraged by the video. Kusum says that’s how girls are nowadays. We’ll find a girl for Karthik who will give you everything and be under your control. Lakshmi gives them juice. Gayatri rudely says no. Lakshmi asks, “Will you take something else?” She says no. Her phone falls. Lakshmi picks it up. Mangal doesn’t like it.
Lipika asks Mangal to make a strong cup of coffee for Gayatri. Lakshmi apologizes for the incident. It must have hurt you. Someone blown it out of proportion. Karthik helped me out. Karthik says the media does this all the time. It would be best if you let it go. Maa is cool about it. She says I thought I should clarify. Gayatri says it’s fine. My son is a star. What can we do?
