Gayatri dismisses it, saying those sarees are sold in bulk and it could be anyone. Karthik suggests they go inside and confirm. Kusum tells Adit that since she is letting him stay in the house, he must arrange Mangal’s bail.
At the gathering, Verenda notices everyone tense and asks if something is wrong. Kusum introduces herself as Mangal’s mother-in-law and Adit as her son. Verenda asks where Mangal is, but Adit makes an excuse. Gayatri and Karthik also arrive, and Verenda greets them warmly. Kusum explains they are her sister and relatives. Lakshmi grows restless, saying something is definitely wrong and decides to check on Mangal. Shanti pleads with Kusum to bring Mangal quickly. Kusum assures her that Adit will handle the bail.
Meanwhile, at the police station, a constable orders Mangal into lockup. She pleads her innocence, explaining she is just a housewife who wanted a job. She questions how people fell sick if she made ten kilos of halwa but only five kilos were contaminated. She wonders who bought the rest.
Lipika shares her worries with Lakshmi, who promises to handle the matter and bring Mangal back. At the function, Verenda becomes suspicious as Lakshmi and Adit are missing. She demands the truth before agreeing to the roka ceremony.
At the police station, Soumya discourages Adit from bailing Mangal out. She suggests leaving Mangal there for a day to prove she can manage the house and children better. Adit feels conflicted. Verenda meanwhile insists on a video call with Mangal, raising more tension for Shanti and Kusum.
Adit finally reaches the police station and sits with Mangal. Instead of helping, he taunts her, reminding her of the time she got him arrested. He cruelly tells her no one came to bail her out and that she should realise she is nothing without him. Just then, the inspector informs Mangal that she is free as the case was not proven against her. Customers confirmed her halwa was sold in the morning, while the contaminated batch appeared in the evening. The customers even praised her cooking and offered to order from her in the future.
Relieved, Mangal thanks them for their statements. The inspector praises her for proving her innocence. Adit is left humiliated, as the inspector remarks that his presence was unnecessary. Another inspector questions about the contaminated food served that evening. Lakshmi steps in with determination, saying she will prove that Mangal had no role in it.
