As Sudesh faints, Kusum worries for him. Mangal goes out of the house looking for a taxi or cab. Mangal decides to take him on a four-wheel cart.
Mangal and Kusum push Sudesh on the four-wheel cart. They try to stop an auto, but it doesn’t stop. It starts raining. Mangal covers Sudesh in plastic. Kusum asks Mangal where Adit is. She says Adit isn’t answering her call. She asks Kusum to try it on her phone. Kusum calls Adit, but he doesn’t answer.
She threatens Adit with slitting her wrist as he throws her out. Adit asks Sowmya not to do anything like that. Lakshmi approaches Akshat and Ishana. Ishana and Akshat open the door for Lakshmi. Lakshmi calms them down as she takes them into the room.
Mangal and Kusum admit Sudesh to the hospital. The doctor checks Sudesh and informs Mangal that Sudesh has had a heart attack. She comments on the fact that she lost to Mangal. Sowmya tells Adit she feels tired of always being compared with Mangal. Adit takes the knife and throws it away. In a conversation with Sowmya, Adit discovers that Sowmya tries to kill herself but doesn’t dare to do so.
Kusum calls Adit through Mangal’s phone since Adit isn’t picking up the calls and isn’t with them when they need him the most.
As a result of Mangal coming in between them, Sowmya asks Adit not to think of him as stupid and comments on it. Adit also comments about Mangal because she made him apologize to Kusum. When Sowmya sees a call from Mangal’s phone, she comments. Adit attempts to attend the call. Sowmya threatens to slit her wrists if she does. Adit throws away his phone when he sees this. Kusum informs Mangal that Adit’s phone has been turned off.
The doctor tells Mangal and Kusum that they need to put a stent in his heart and asks them to sign the consent form and pay Rs 1 lakh. Sowmya talks to Adit and tells him he needs to make a choice: either Mangal or her. Mangal calms down Kusum and says she’ll get the money from the house. Adit believes he should be here.
