Bhushan calls Mangal and asks him what happened. He says I won’t let this happen. Shanti says there is a TV on. Don’t worry. He’ll talk to you later. She hangs up. Mangal says something is wrong for sure. Kusum says your mom will make something for sure. Lakshmi advises Karthik to take care of his work. Sonu will assist me with the decor. Sonu assured me that we would handle the project. The builders move towards the house with a bulldozer.
Lakshmi is shocked when she arrives at the scene. Despite her efforts to intervene, the others refuse to listen. Desperate, she lies in front of the house and demands to see the notice. Asserting that her home is entirely legal, Lakshmi reads the notice and confirms there is no order for demolition. However, Shanti reminds everyone that the individuals responsible are from the government and suggests they may have legitimate reasons for their actions. Disagreeing with this notion, Lakshmi insists it is incorrect, and Bhushan agrees that their home cannot be destroyed without a proper explanation. A concerned neighbour mentions hearing Shanti discuss relocating to a larger house, prompting Bhushan to inquire about their plans and voice his opposition.
Bhushan says Gayatri promised us a new house. Lipika says she’s scared. Lakshmi is scared. She says we don’t need to live in this poor area anymore. She’s going to give us a new house with furniture. The Lakshmi lives in the big palace and wants us to live there. Lipika tries to get Lakshmi to go. She says she won’t let anyone touch her house. She says run the bulldozer on me. She says I’m sure you’re not from the government. Someone else sent you.
The man says this woman called us and asked us to break the house. Bhushan thanks Lakshmi for saving the house. Lakshmi calls the police. Shanti says your MIL did all this and is going to jail instead of me. Karthik might be involved. Use your mind. Your MIL is right. Shanti says we should live a good life as well. Lipika agrees. We cannot even invite anyone here. Lakshmi goes inside.
Somaiya is determined to help Adit finish his meal, but he immediately breaks into a fit of coughs and asks, “Does it have chalk?” Somaiya responds incredulously, “Are you crazy? It’s sauce.” However, Adit can’t seem to swallow the food. At this point, Somaiya suggests that Adit should drop out of the competition since he isn’t accustomed to cooking. She then proposes they focus on their project instead. Somaiya shares her genuine interest in doing so, which prompts Adit to remind her that she doesn’t know how to cook. Somaiya urges him to be supportive and encourages him by saying they could both win awards for their efforts. Noting that they will wear blue for the event, Adit agrees and adds with a hint of concern, “Okay then. Let’s hope the judge is nice.” Somaiya gratefully replies, “Thanks for supporting me.”
Shanti says this house is a cave. We can’t fix it. Lakshmi says it’s a substantial house. We should do some touch-up work. Shanti asks who will pay for all of this. Bhushan says, “Stop this drama, Shanti. You’re so greedy.” Gayatri says the offer came from her. Lakshmi says, “I won’t sell or break this house.” Shanti says your own mother-in-law wants to break into this house.
Mangal makes a dessert. Mangal is nervous. Kusum says everything will be fine. She says I didn’t tell Adit. Papa says he’ll be happy. Kusum says we’re here with you. Mangal says I should call Lakshmi before I leave. Lakshmi comes home. Gayatri comes in. She says the media is so excited to meet you and your family. I got your clothes ready. Lakshmi says I can’t let my house break. They’ll see what I did. Gayatri says you don’t have a choice.
Karthik is a major star, and our family is considered high-class. His public image holds great importance for us. While we have always turned a blind eye to some issues, I cannot let the state of your house tarnish Karthik’s reputation. Therefore, I suggest that you request your family relocate to the new, fully furnished house I have provided. However, Lakshmi expresses her hesitation as it holds sentimental value, as it was her parent’s home. Upon hearing this, Karthik inquired about the situation, and Gayatri explained that the shoot had been cancelled with plans to reschedule. She also adds that she had put much effort into the shoot and feels disappointed.
Mangal contacted Lipika, who mentioned she had previously left the form. Bhushan and Shanti engaged in a heated argument, after which Shanti took over the phone. She accused Mangal of arranging Lakshmi’s marriage and vowed to prevent her from returning home as she now has too much pride. Shanti also complained that her mother-in-law continuously taunts them despite Gayatri offering them a fully furnished house. However, Lakshmi refused the offer and did not want them to experience peace. When Gayatri attempted to send people to destroy their current residence, Lakshmi intervened and sent them away. Mangal expressed disappointment in Shanti’s behaviour just as Karthik and Lakshmi arrived. Shanti questioned if Lakshmi knew their mother had sent people to destroy their home.
