She explains that as the eldest daughter-in-law of the family, she cannot act without evidence. Devi insists that Abhishek must confess the truth to the media or she will reveal everything herself. Left with no choice, Abhishek agrees to admit his mistake publicly. Kailash loses his temper, feeling humiliated, and lashes out at Anuradha, accusing her of failing as a mother. Arohi feels hurt watching Anuradha’s tears, while Bua asks her to let the matter rest for the sake of family reputation. Devi refuses to let Arohi be manipulated. However, Arohi decides that she does not want Abhishek to confess if it means hurting his mother, as she cannot bear to see Anuradha in pain.

Arohi then speaks her heart out to Kailash. She recalls her struggles in coming to the city from a small village to study, explaining how her parents worked tirelessly to give her an education.
