As Sumeet steps into Shlok’s house, Poonam accidentally drenches her with a bucket of water, causing a shock. The family is occupied with clearing the flooded house and dealing with a power outage. Amidst the chaos, Sumeet spots a loose wire that could be hazardous if it touches the water. She grabs a wooden stick to keep it away from the fuse box and attempts to reach it. Suddenly, Poonam hurls her sandal, narrowly missing Sumeet and almost causing her to lose balance. Fortunately, Shlok comes to her rescue and they both tumble down together.
Shlok’s family members are taken aback by Sumeet’s unexpected presence. Poonam recalls her past encounter with him and becomes visibly upset. Meanwhile, Pankhuri assumes that Sumeet is accompanying Raunak, but she clarifies that she rode on Shlok’s bike to get there. Shlok, who is confused, asks for more information. Sumeet then confronts him about leaving her at the wedding altar and ignoring her attempts to reach out. He responds rudely and suggests she ask the person she married instead. However, Sumeet insists that she is indeed referring to the person she married, but Shlok denies any knowledge of such an event taking place.
Sumeet inquires whether Shlok has disclosed the truth to anyone and if it is her responsibility to do so. She humbly seeks Poonam’s blessings as she is Raunak’s wife and her daughter-in-law. However, Shlok still denies acknowledging their marriage and insists upon Sumeet being Raunak’s rightful partner. Meanwhile, Masoom persistently teases Raj about Sumeet’s actions, but he firmly declares that he will not allow her to go to Shagun’s house under any circumstances. Instead, Raj proposes sending her to London. Accusing Sumeet of untruthfulness, Shlok fails to recognize the fact that they both performed all the marriage rituals together and tied the knot to protect her from a disastrous fate.
Shlok denies everything in a harsh manner, while Poonam insults Sumeet. Bitti silently sheds tears as she contemplates her fixed relationship with Shlok. However, Poonam interjects and prevents Bitti from leaving, declaring that Sumeet’s accusations are false. Despite this, Sumeet insists that she saw Shlok’s face during the marriage ceremony. In response, Shlok reminds her that he had warned her about Raunak before, but she refused to listen. He firmly states that Sumeet should be with Raunak instead of himself. Adding fuel to the fire, Poonam labels Sumeet as characterless and disowns any connection between her and the family, demanding that she leave the house immediately.
Sumeet recalls her moments with Shlok, wondering why he cannot remember any of it after their marriage. Poonam urges Sumeet to go away, pointing out that a girl’s home becomes her in-laws’ once she gets married. Despite Sumeet’s arguments, Poonam insists that only Bitti will be Shlok’s bride and forcibly pushes her out of the house. Sumeet pleads with Shlok to accept their marriage, but he remains silent. Poonam makes it clear to everyone in the household not to interact with Sumeet, confident that she will eventually leave. Drenched in the rain, Sumeet hopes that Shlok will come around and acknowledge their union.
