When Shlok, Sumeet, Raj, and Akki return to India, their family members welcome them warmly. Poonam embraces Shlok and Sumeet, and when Shlok inquires about Sarthak, Priyanka fabricates a story, claiming he has gone shopping. Rajeev tries to shield Shlok and Sumeet from the media reporters who want to interview them. She assures Sumeet that she has safely brought Akki and Shlok home and has kept that promise.
They press Sumeet into the room and ask her how she rescued Shlok alone from Pakistan. They ask her whether she believes Shlok would do the same for her if she were in a similar situation. She affirms that Shlok would even confront God to protect her. Sumeet holds Shlok’s hand and asserts that in a marriage, both husband and wife share equal responsibilities and are bound by love. Raj and Rajeev manage to escort the reporters out of the building.
After Sumeet gets ready, Shlok affectionately hugs her from behind, trying to be romantic. As she playfully evades his advances, Shlok reminds her that the door is unlocked and someone may enter. He assures her they won’t be disturbed so that they can enjoy this precious time together without interruption.
Sumeet shares her deepest desire with Shlok, asking him to envision it with closed eyes. She paints a picture of a packed stadium, where the crowd is excitedly buzzing, all cheering for him as he takes center stage. Touched by her words, Shlok acknowledges that not all dreams come true. However, Sumeet reassures him that he will become a superstar and she will stand by his side as his wife. With this dream in mind, Shlok contemplates proposing to Sumeet once it becomes a reality.
Poonam summons Shlok and Sumeet to Bappa’s immersion ceremony. The priest suggests performing Shlok and Sumeet’s gathbandhan as well. Everyone becomes anxious when the veil of Shlok and Sumeet’s gathbandhan catches fire during the puja. Raj dismisses such superstitions as bad omens. Sumeet says they are inseparable. Poonam suggests the priest examine their horoscopes, hinting at impending challenges, and warn them not to gaze at the full moon.
Rajeev proposes that Raj and Priyanka also get married, and the priest suggests they get Shlok and Sumeet married again. Raj expresses his willingness to perform the kanyadan ritual wholeheartedly, this time when Anju enthusiastically volunteers to make all the arrangements. Sumeet reveals that she has found the truck driver who transported Shlok to Pakistan. When Pankhuri sees Priyanka, he leaves, trying to elicit Raj’s sympathy.
Pankhuri experiences jealousy as she contemplates replacing Priyanka in Raj’s life. Raj pulls Priyanka closer to her. As Shagun and the police arrive, Shlok and Sumeet locate the truck driver, uncover the truth, and inform the police that they intend to file a complaint against the individual who sent Shlok to Pakistan.
