Akki was considering destroying the watch, hoping it would prevent the bomb from detonating. But then Sumeet interrupted, causing Akki to quickly conceal the watch up his sleeve and make a run for it. Just as Sumeet was about to pursue Akki, Pankhuri stopped her with some exciting news: she had discovered a potential match for Priyanka and proudly displayed the man’s profile to everyone. Sumeet and Shlok took a look at the profile, while Pankhuri praised the man for his generosity and affluence. However, Shlok strongly objected to this union, citing the man’s age and existing child. Pankhuri tried to justify her choice, highlighting the man’s wealth and widower status. But Shlok argued that Priyanka deserved a marriage based on love and respect, not just material possessions. In support of Priyanka, Sumeet stated that all work is admirable, while Pankhuri insulted Priyanka’s appearance and life experiences.
Pankhuri persists in convincing Priyanka, but Raj interrupts and offers a differing opinion. He believes there are no problems with Priyanka’s career and that any man would be lucky to have her. Raj then approaches the elders and expresses his wish to marry Priyanka since they do not have parents to arrange the match. Sumeet is pleasantly taken aback by his brother’s affection for Priyanka and apologizes to her for not informing her sooner. As Priyanka recalls Raj’s moments, she agrees, leading to a joyful embrace between the brothers. As the family is together, they decide to have an engagement ceremony that same day. As Akki attempts to flee with his backpack, Sumeet catches up to him and inquires about Shagun’s involvement in his odd behavior. With tears in his eyes, Akki begs for Sumeet to release him, recalling Shagun’s warning about a bomb concealed within his watch that will detonate if he confesses. Despite Sumeet’s persistent questioning, Akki conceals his wrist, drawing her attention to the watch. He then quickly escapes, revealing to Sumeet that there is indeed a bomb inside. A call from Shagun alerts them that there are only 15 minutes left until the bomb explodes. In a hurry, Sumeet convinces Raj to stay behind and take care of their family while she and Shlok depart. As she shuts the door behind her, Sumeet notices her mangalsutra has broken and becomes worried.
