Meet 18th October 2023 Written Episode Update on worldofentertainment.in

The entire Shlok household is ablaze, trapping his family and Sumeet inside. Shagun witnesses the chaos unfolding through her phone. Sumeet locates a nearby water pipe and attempts to break it in a desperate attempt to save themselves. She successfully breaks the pipe with great determination, unleashing a powerful stream of water that extinguishes the flames. Poonam embraces Sumeet with heartfelt gratitude for granting them another chance at life.

Meanwhile, Shagun’s scheme has not gone according to plan, and she can’t help but feel disappointed. As all this is happening, Shlok comes to the realization that he must accept Sakshi’s deal and have a drink with her in order to make Sumeet happy. Upon Rajiv’s return home, he delivers heartbreaking news that the fire destroyed their shop, resulting in the loss of all their goods and investments.

Anju updates Sumeet on the devastating loss of their entire investment, which had already been advanced. Despite attempting to contact Shlok, Sakshi intentionally silences his phone and persists in urging him to continue drinking. Sumeet grows increasingly concerned about the incidents at home and Shlok’s whereabouts. As Shlok becomes increasingly intoxicated, he reflects on the harsh words of the producer and the barbs of Raunak but remains determined to fulfill Sumeet’s aspirations. Sakshi offers Shlok a check and asks if he can now accept a gift from his fans. Though hesitant, Shlok accidentally drops his phone as it slips from Sakshi’s hand.

Shlok notices the numerous missed calls from Sumeet and Priyanka. He promptly calls Sumeet and is reprimanded for not being there, as Sumeet informs him about the fire. Shlok then quickly informs Sakshi that he needs to leave and bids farewell. Sakshi expresses her desire to have control over Shlok’s actions. Raj shares with Sumeet that the fire was no accident, having noticed kerosene and an open can at the scene. They suspect Shagun’s involvement since both the house and shop were ablaze simultaneously. Pankhuri fuels Anju’s anger towards Sumeet by claiming that she suffers due to Shagun’s revenge on him.

Upon Shlok’s return to their house, his intoxicated state shocks Sumeet. Poonam and Rajiv scold him for consuming alcohol. Anju then reprimands him for ignoring her calls. Despite this, Raj and Sumeet come to Shlok’s defense, speculating that he may have been coerced into drinking by his association with a prominent company. Sumeet suggests they could sell her diamond necklace to compensate for the losses incurred by Anju and Rajiv. However, when staff from the jewelry store arrive and mention that Shlok had purchased a diamond necklace without paying for it yet, Sumeet is left feeling helpless as they ask for it back. Raj offers to cover the cost, but Sumeet declines and returns the necklace herself.

Shagun and Raunak show up, taunting Sumeet and Shlok. Shagun wonders if Raj feels any remorse for his sister. Sumeet scolds Shagun for causing the fire. Shagun commends Shlok for saving money for their household expenses and suggests using it to compensate for Rajiv’s losses. She exposes the truth about Shlok not signing a singing contract and plays a recording of him pleading with the producer for an opportunity. Shagun insults Shlok and stirs him up. Overwhelmed, Shlok admits defeat and labels himself as a disappointment. He tells Sumeet that he is releasing her from their relationship and urges her to return to her comfortable life, leaving Sumeet shocked and wounded.
