The episode begins with Arjun offering Megha some food. She notices the smiley face on the plate and grins. As she reads another letter, Arjun suggests they have a picnic to lift her spirits. He has prepared something for her to boost her energy but apologizes in advance if it’s not delicious. After eating the sandwich, Megha remembers Manoj and their conversation about seeking revenge. Despite everything, she thanks Manoj for always keeping his promises and begs him to meet her as promised.
Arjun lies on the ground as Megha reads his note. His message instructs her to take a bag from the cabinet where she finds the cash and important documents. Despite everything being in order, Megha cannot leave without him. The note advises her to remain practical and meet their lawyer, Shalini, for help and safety. Megha’s heart tugs at the thought of leaving without Arjun, but she knows he wrote these instructions with her best interest in mind. She spots a blanket nearby and uses it to sleep until morning.
As consciousness returns to Arjun, he quickly hides from the approaching police. Megha awakens and glances at the time. In the commotion, Arjun stumbles and falls to the ground. The surroundings are shrouded in darkness due to a power outage. Startled, Megha frantically moves about. A candle is knocked over in the chaos, causing a small fire to erupt. Just as the flames spread, Arjun rushes over and extinguishes them. Concerned for his well-being, she asks if he is alright. While checking his injured arm, she notices that he is bleeding. He looks at his watch and remarks it is 5:30 – just as he had warned her earlier. Confused, she reminds him that she had promised not to leave without him and explains that she had told him this while he was away.
She is concerned. He reassures her, saying not to worry because these things happen and he will be okay, but then contradicts himself by fainting. She rushes to get water. The officer observes a man’s shoes and assumes that someone must be helping her, but he is injured, so they should try to find them. Megha splashes water on Arjun’s face and urges him to wake up. She advises him not to move as he is bleeding.
Arjun confirms being shot and is then told by the woman that she needs to take him to the hospital. He then attempts to lighten the mood, saying that he knows he will not survive without medical attention. She tries to ease his worries and urges him to come with her. However, he points out that his hand cannot reach the wound due to his torn shirt. She agrees that it is a deep wound and they need a doctor, but he insists on staying and using first aid instead. After checking the first aid box, she realizes it is empty and worries about how Arjun will receive treatment.
