In the beginning of the episode, Megha is upset and retreats to her room in tears. After tending to her wound with ointment, she tries to contact Manoj for comfort. However, when a man asks if she is his girlfriend, Manoj clarifies that she is a distant relative. The call ends abruptly. Later, Megha receives a notification about an EMI being due and decides to investigate by calling the number listed under Sikandar’s loan and equity company. To her shock, someone answers, claiming to have been from the company. However, when she tries to reach Manoj again, he has turned off his phone. Determined to figure out what’s going on, Megha sends him an audio message expressing suspicion towards a possible scam involving a loan they never took out together and requests him to call her back. Unfortunately, her messages have not been delivered, and she realizes he has blocked her number.
When she hears Kavita talking to Manoj, she asks her to give her the phone. Kavita says no, I am speaking to my nephew, who lives in Nepal. Go now if you have finished your work. As she leaves, Megha gets sad. She calls Manoj, but his number is busy. She sees Kohli sleeping on the sofa. Goldie and Kripal make a Rakhi reel. Ranjeeta asks him to tie the rakhi for Megha. He says she is also welcome to come here, as she has been missed.
She sneaks into Kavita’s room and takes her phone after Surinder says she can spend time with her inlaws. Kohli sees her. The phone falls and breaks. She believes I wasn’t thinking wrong. Kavita was talking to Manoj, so what is going on? Megha says she came for water. She goes to the kitchen and drinks water. As she rushes to her room, she receives Surinder’s audio message. She thinks of him and cries. Her mind is filled with many questions.
I have a question for you, Megha says to Kavita in the morning. Kohli shows me the broken phone and says you took it at night. Megha is scolded by Kavita, who says you are spying on me. Megha says Manoj won’t take my calls. I want to talk to him. He spoke to you six times yesterday, yet he did not call back. Why? Kavita claims he is my son, and he will talk to me. She twists Megha’s hand and insults her.
Megha says, ” Leaving me hurts me.” Kavita asks her to stay within her limits. Surinder arrives. Kavita leaves Megha’s hand. He says today is Rakhi, and he wants to take her home. He asks Megha to hug him, so she hugs him and cries. Kavita checks the gifts. Surinder asks if I can take Megha home today since everyone misses her.
The two smile. Kavita goes to Megha and asks her not to tell Manoj anything at home so he doesn’t feel bad. Megha says, “I’m the bahu of this house, but I’ll always be the daughter of that house.” Kavita says don’t bother them; they’ll say daughters have to keep the marriage, and it’s your choice.
Kohli says you lost your burden when your daughter married in a big house. Surinder says your daughter is a blessing, not a burden. Megha gets her bag. He says, “Give it to me.” Kohli signs Kavita’s name.
They leave. Goldie ties a rakhi to Surinder. He gives her a selfie stick. She hugs him. Megha ties a rakhi to Kripal. He gives her the chocolates. He says, “I have one more gift for you, a Swiss knife. You can keep it for your safety in Georgia.” She thinks of Kavita’s words and hugs him.
