He expresses his frustration that their once-close relationship with Arjun’s family has now turned into open hostility. Surinder, however, is determined and declares that he knows exactly what must be done. He shockingly states that since he is destined to die soon, he will take Talwar’s life before that. Kripal tries to calm him down, calling his words foolish. He reminds Surinder that his impulsive act of storming into the Talwar mansion with a sword has made matters worse, leaving them with no way to communicate peacefully.
Surinder furiously retorts, asking what’s left to discuss with people like the Talwars and criticises Kripal for not standing up for their family. Ranjeeta intervenes and pleads for them to stop fighting, admitting that the situation has deteriorated beyond repair. Goldie, still traumatised, tells Ranjeeta that she wants everyone to forget what happened and move on.
Megha refuses to accept this. She questions how Goldie expects her to ever go back to the Talwar house after everything that has happened. Megha insists that something terrible was done to Goldie and that Talwar must face consequences. Kripal tries to reason with her, asking what will happen if Talwar apologises. Surinder cuts him off, saying that some sins can never be forgiven. Kripal argues that they are powerless against the Talwars because society will always take their side. But Megha remains steadfast, declaring that truth is on their side and that she will confront Arjun directly.
Soon, Arjun arrives and asks if he can speak to his wife. Megha, already emotional, holds his hand and says she wanted to talk to him too. She invites him inside, but Arjun insists this isn’t about ego — he just wants to discuss what went wrong between them privately. He says only they can resolve this misunderstanding.
While they talk, Surinder secretly takes a photo of Megha and Arjun together. Megha is startled and questions him. Surinder replies that he is collecting evidence to prove that she went to meet Arjun. Megha is hurt and defends Arjun, saying she won’t allow anyone, not even her father, to speak against her husband. She leaves with Arjun, determined to clear things up.
In the car, Arjun asks how Goldie is doing. Megha replies that she is deeply disturbed and unwell. Arjun tells her that Talwar is also broken, and Shagun is in shock. Back under the tent, Megha shivers from the rain. Arjun removes his jacket and places it around her shoulders. As thunder roars, she seeks comfort in his arms. For a brief moment, the tension melts away. Megha pleads with him not to leave her alone. Arjun admits that he too feels lonely, and Megha assures him that as long as they are together, no one can defeat them.
However, the fragile peace breaks when Megha says that Goldie cannot bear such false accusations and insists that Talwar must prove his innocence. Arjun agrees that truth must prevail but declares that he trusts his father completely and will stand by him. Megha, disheartened, returns his jacket and walks away into the rain.
