The harsh words echo in her mind, leaving her emotionally shaken. Ranjeeta, concerned, consults the doctor about Megha’s condition. The doctor explains that her pain is caused by stress or lifting something heavy. Ranjeeta immediately recalls Megha carrying a water bucket earlier that day. The doctor advises rest and care to avoid complications and hands over a prescription, which Ranjeeta passes to Kirpal before he leaves. She then gently tells Megha to take better care of herself.

Soon after, Megha spots Arjun in the hospital corridor and approaches him hesitantly. She asks what brought him there and if Shagun is all right. Arjun, still upset, curtly informs her that Shagun is admitted with a head injury. Worried, Megha tries to enter Shagun’s room, but Arjun blocks her path. She pleads to see Shagun once, but Arjun’s disappointment is evident. He tells her that he never thought she would go to such extremes but regrets trusting her. “You filed an FIR and dragged our family through humiliation,” he says bitterly. Megha, holding back tears, replies that she didn’t want to go that far but had no choice.

Arjun accuses her of calling the media to make the situation worse. Megha defends herself, insisting neither she nor her family informed the press. Arjun, exhausted and conflicted, tells Navjot that she’s free to do what she wants. He then heads to meet Megha’s doctor.

Inside, the doctor informs Arjun that Megha is not in a stable state, physically or mentally. She explains that Megha’s constant stress could affect her health and advises Arjun to keep a closer watch on her. The doctor also mentions that Megha has been attending checkups alone, which she finds concerning. Hearing this, Arjun grows uneasy. He recalls Megha’s previous pleas for his support and how he harshly blamed her for Shagun’s condition. Guilt begins to weigh on him. He tries to call her, but her line is busy.

The next day brings more challenges for Megha. When she and Ranjeeta meet a lawyer to pursue Goldie’s case, he refuses outright, citing the risks of going up against KP’s power and influence. Frustrated and angry, Megha scolds him for his cowardice and storms out. She then turns to Ranjeeta in despair, asking how they can fight without a lawyer willing to take the case.

Meanwhile, Navjot and Ranjeeta have opposing strategies. Ranjeeta informs KP that she has hired Supreme Court advocate Harman to handle his bail application and that she’s confident of success. KP, however, looks doubtful. He tells Ranjeeta and Arjun that he doesn’t care about bail if Arjun doesn’t trust him. Confused, Arjun asks why he would think that. KP replies that he knows both Megha and Arjun are suffering and insists that it wasn’t Megha’s fault. Navjot interrupts angrily, claiming Goldie is lying, but KP gently says Megha shouldn’t be made to feel alone.

Elsewhere, Megha refuses to give up. As the show’s title track plays softly in the background, she continues searching for a lawyer. Eventually, one lawyer agrees but demands a fee of two lakh rupees. Megha confesses she doesn’t have that kind of money. The lawyer looks at her gold chain and casually suggests selling it. Megha firmly refuses, saying the chain is her mangalsutra—a sacred symbol of her marriage. The lawyer, unmoved, tells her that the case will begin soon and that only he is willing to take on KP.

Just then, Arjun arrives, witnessing Megha’s struggle. His expression shifts from anger to remorse as he realises the extent of her sacrifice and determination to stand for justice, even when the world seems against her.
