Meanwhile, Megha is seen in a heated argument with lawyer Pathania. He insists she hand over her nuptial chain as payment for taking Goldie’s case, reminding her that the court hearing begins in just twenty minutes and that only he has the courage to go up against Harman Rana. Megha refuses, her voice calm but firm. She tells him that her mangalsutra represents her sacred marital bond and that she will never sell it.
Kripal, frustrated, lashes out at Megha. He reminds her that they are ordinary people taking on someone as powerful as Arjun Talwar and that fighting him in court is a lost cause. Megha calmly replies that she is not fighting her husband—she is fighting Talwar, the man who has committed a crime. Her determination silences Kripal.
At that moment, Arjun arrives, and Ranjeeta quickly takes Kripal away to avoid further conflict. Arjun offers Megha a glass of water and notes that she looks exhausted. Megha thanks him, and for a moment, their tense silence softens. He asks whether she has managed to find a lawyer yet. Megha replies that she’s still searching but will not give up. Arjun then questions her bluntly—whether all this struggle is truly worth it. Megha avoids the question and instead asks about Shagun’s health.
Arjun tells her that Shagun has been discharged from the hospital and reminds her that the Talwar mansion is also Shagun’s home, meaning she can visit anytime. Megha nods politely, saying she’ll visit when she gets a chance.
Trying to reason with her, Arjun says he understands she’s fighting for her family, but Goldie is an “abandoned woman” who doesn’t need to share everything with her. Megha shoots back sharply that the same applies to him—he doesn’t know everything about Talwar either. “You didn’t even know about your uncle when you were in the hostel,” she adds. Her words sting. Enraged, Arjun warns Megha that she can do whatever she wants, but Talwar will return home with him today. He mocks her for not even having a lawyer and storms inside the courtroom.
The hearing soon begins. Harman Rana introduces himself confidently as Talwar’s lawyer, and the judge praises his reputation. When asked who is representing Goldie, Pathania stands up and announces his name. At that moment, Navjot whispers to Arjun that Megha is not wearing her nuptial chain. Arjun immediately recalls her earlier conversation with Kripal about not selling it.
A flashback reveals the truth: Megha had asked Kripal to give her nuptial chain to Pathania, saying she didn’t want Talwar to get bail at any cost. Ranjeeta had tried to stop her, reminding her that the chain symbolizes her marriage. But Megha had replied firmly, “My relationship with Arjun is not tied by this thread. If Arjun can go this far to defend Talwar, then I can sacrifice this much for Goldie.” Her quiet strength had left everyone speechless.
Back in the courtroom, the judge remarks that cases like this rarely result in bail. Harman Rana, however, begins his argument by claiming that women often misuse the laws created for their protection. His words anger Arjun, but Navjot warns him that Rana will use any tactic necessary to win.
Rana then accuses the Khurana family of filing the case for financial gain. To everyone’s shock, Pathania—who was supposed to be on Goldie’s side—agrees not to object to Talwar’s bail. The judge immediately grants Talwar bail. Megha is furious. Outside the courtroom, she confronts Pathania for betraying them. He coldly blames her, saying she failed to provide him with full details of the case, and walks away.
As Megha stands in disbelief, she notices Navjot quietly talking to Pathania nearby. Suspicious, she hides and records their conversation on her phone. The truth becomes clear—Navjot had bribed Pathania to sabotage the case.
Moments later, outside the courthouse, chaos erupts as a mob of people attacks Megha, blackening her face for daring to go against Talwar. Navjot watches with a cruel smile, enjoying every moment of Megha’s humiliation.
Arjun arrives just in time, pulling Megha away from the angry crowd. Hurt and shaken, Megha shows him the video she secretly recorded of Navjot and Pathania. Looking him straight in the eye, she asks, “Tell me, Arjun—do you still think it’s right to win a case by doing such things?” Her words leave him speechless as guilt and realization begin to surface.
