The scene opens with Megha tumbling off her scooter. Just then, Arjun appears and lends a hand. “Are you hurt?” he asks as they walk towards the side. “I’m fine, thanks,” she reassures him. Unfortunately, the scooty refuses to start up again despite her attempts. “I’ll give you a ride,” suggests Arjun, trying to reason with her. “You can also join me for some tea on the way.” He heads off to fetch some tea while Megha tries to get her scooter running. When he returns, he sprays some medicine on her twisted ankle, causing her to protest in surprise. “It’s just for the sprain,” he explains, adding that he wouldn’t want her to go alone as it isn’t safe.
She reminds me that you can’t always come. He advises me to avoid getting into trouble so I won’t have to rely on you. She tearfully questions if she ever asked for my help. He denies it. She believes he has caused problems in her life. He apologizes, acknowledges his fault, and then invites her to sit in the car. She insists that he has fulfilled his duty and that she will handle things by herself. He encourages her to take action against Manoj by filing an FIR for cheating, fraud, and domestic violence and pursuing a divorce without hesitation.
She inquires about the possibility of completing the task, expressing her doubts. He reassures her that she can do it, as circumstances have shifted. She questions what exactly has changed. He urges her not to constantly argue and reminds her of their trust in each other. She agrees and suggests that he will eventually find someone better than her. They both sit with a melancholic air before getting up and departing.
Upon arriving home, Arjun and Megha remain filled with sorrow. As the song “Hamari Adhuri Kahani” echoes in the background, they call it a night. However, as Arjun descends the stairs, he is shocked to see a tantric performing a ritual. He turns to Navjot and inquires about the purpose of the puja. She responds by saying that the “potli baba” will rid him of the troubles caused by Megha. Making light of the situation, she jokes about Arjun’s predicament. Feeling troubled and determined, he declares that he will confront the tantric. But Navjot interjects, urging him to consider what Baba Ji had said – even after sacrificing numerous fishes for Megha’s sake, she still followed Arjun back home.
Arjun splashes water on the girl and scolds the man. Baba ji also reprimands him for his actions. Navjot interjects, asking for forgiveness since Arjun is just a kid. However, Arjun’s focus shifts to the tantric as he points his gun at him. Navjot pleads with him to put down the weapon, reminding him that he has a license and that it will be a problem if someone gets hurt. However, Arjun argues that he can handle any inquiry that may arise. Navjot then reminds Arjun of their family’s name and reputation, stating that their marriage wasn’t solely for the sake of their family but also to help Navjot’s father become an IPS officer. He adds that he doesn’t want Arjun to ruin his sacrifice and hard work by disregarding his duty towards the people, something their father always emphasized.
The mother advises Navjot to apply to Tika before he goes out, but he becomes upset with her. Arjun intervenes and tells Navjot not to get angry at his mom. As Arjun leaves, Navjot notices a photo of Megha and angrily burns it. Megha offers to iron clothes for someone, but Ranjeeta refuses. Upon seeing Megha’s injury, she asks if Manoj is responsible. In response, Megha pleads for her not to confront their father. Suddenly, Dolly arrives and reveals that Ranjeeta has been suspended from something. This news shocks Megha.
Dolly inquires, “Didn’t you inform her about Sikandar’s actions?” Megha then asks, “What precisely did he do?” Surinder addresses Dolly and suggests she leave, stating they will fill her in later. Acting upon this, Dolly exits. In an eager tone, Megha requests all the details regarding Sikandar’s actions. At this moment, Talwar arrives at their doorstep. After Ranjeeta welcomes and lets him inside, Talwar introduces himself as KP Talwar. Upon seeing him there, Ranjeeta expresses her surprise and kindly ushers him in. Talwar commends Arjun for his bravery and dedication to protecting Megha’s safety in Georgia by pretending to be married to her. However, knowing full well that he might be crossing boundaries, Talwar admits to feeling hesitant about asking them anything further regarding the matter.
