Ranjeeta then approaches Megha, emotional herself. Megha later walks up to Surinder and brings him food. She urges him to eat, saying she can’t stay upset with him for long, and he knows it.

Surinder, visibly emotional, tells Megha he just wants to do one thing right in his life. Megha asks if she has become a burden on him since returning home to care for him. He assures her that’s not true, but insists that life will truly move forward only when she agrees to marry Arjun. Lost in thoughts of Arjun, Megha gently convinces Surinder to eat. She embraces him and makes a promise — she will marry Arjun, but only if he looks after his own health.

Surinder is elated by her decision and excitedly announces to the family that Megha has agreed to the marriage. Everyone is thrilled by the news. He asks Ranjeeta to call Talwar. Though hesitant, Ranjeeta eventually places the call. Talwar, who is in the middle of an important meeting, answers briefly. Ranjeeta informs him that Megha has agreed to the marriage and ends the call before hearing his response, fearing how impulsive they might seem.
