The scene opens with Manoj announcing the departure of the lover’s baraat and requesting the music to be played. However, his joy is short-lived, as he ends up getting arrested. As the police take him away, he continues dancing. Arjun then apologizes for Manoj losing the DGP position, but Talwar takes responsibility and admits that he should have managed his stress better, especially when dealing with his mother. Arjun also expresses regret for not being able to share Talwar’s burden.
Talwar inquires about Megha’s well-being, to which Arjun responds that he is unsure as he hasn’t spoken to her. Talwar suggests they grab coffee together. Meanwhile, Megha arranges for the CCTV cameras to be repaired and also hands over some evidence to her lawyer to expedite the divorce process. Arjun hits the gym and later calls Sonam to inquire about Megha’s situation. Sonam tells him that Manoj has returned, causing Arjun to become upset.
Sonam claims that Manoj caused a major scene and was arrested by Megha. However, he seems to have the same luck as a cat with nine lives, as he will surely bounce back. As Megha strolls down the street, she suddenly trips and catches sight of a shadow nearby. In a panic, she grabs her pepper spray and yells for help. Arjun coughs and asks what she is doing. Sheepishly apologizes and explains that Ranjeeta gave her the spray for emergencies in case Manoj returns, which he has now done.
She tends to him, getting water and gently guiding him to wash his eyes. She shows her concern for his well-being. Tujhko mai rakhlun wahan…. Plays…. She inquires if he is feeling better now. He replies affirmatively, also mentioning that Manoj returned and she failed to inform him. She reminds him that he cannot always be there to rescue her. He insists that he is always prepared to help. Taking her phone, he adds his number to her speed dial, assuring her he will gladly assist if she ever needs it.
Surinder is concerned about Megha’s well-being when she arrives home. She encourages him to schedule a checkup, which he agrees to do. Despite his worries, she reassures him everything is okay before he leaves. However, while he is gone, she receives a call from an unfamiliar number. Kripal takes the call and inquires about the caller’s identity.
He confirms, “I’ll make sure to check the number.” Using his phone, he contacts Riya. Upon receiving a call from Riya, she requests him to answer it. He declined, expressing concern for Megha, who would be home alone. Wanting him to pick up Riya, Megha convinces him otherwise. He exits, and shortly after, there is a knock at the door, causing Megha to feel frightened as she asks, “Who is it?”
After receiving a message, she notices her picture, and suddenly, the lights go out, causing her to become frightened. Her fear intensifies when she hears Manoj’s voice and calls out his name. He responds with a laugh, but then she sees some mannequins and reacts by slapping one. She rushes upstairs and accidentally falls before locking herself in her room. As she surveys the room in the dim light from the fan, she wonders how it still works without electricity. Her eyes fall upon their wedding pictures, and she questions Manoj’s motives. Feeling overwhelmed, she reaches out to Ranjeeta and Surinder for help but also thinks of Arjun and decides to call him. Without hesitation, Arjun answers and Megha hastily explains the situation: “Manoj has come to my house, what should I do?” Calmly, he reassures her: “Don’t worry, I’m on my way.”
