She wonders why Talwar ordered the same design when she already owns a pair, especially since Navjot never wears such jewellery. Curious, Shagun calls jeweller Jain, who confirms that Talwar indeed placed the order. Disturbed, Shagun realises the bangles might be for another woman. When Megha approaches, Shagun initially hides her worries but later breaks down, confessing that Talwar might be having an affair. Megha consoles and hugs her.

At the party, singer Bhatti compliments Megha and gives her a ring to protect her from evil eyes. He also hints that Arjun is dealing with dangerous people. Megha grows worried, especially when Bhatti mentions seeing a troubling line on her palm. After wishing them for the new year, he leaves. Arjun finally admits to Megha that he is chasing a gang involved in girls’ trafficking. Seeing his arm wounded, she lovingly does first aid while scolding him with care. Arjun reassures her with a promise that he will always return to her.
