The episode begins with Manoj’s arrest, as Megha and her family gather to pray. Upon seeing Arjun, she exclaims, “You’re here!” he responds by acknowledging her victory over Manoj. Megha explains that she needed a divorce from Manoj to start a new life. Arjun reassures her that he will always be there for her, and they both notice the matarani chunri falling upon them. As Megha goes to pray, she returns with aarti for him, bringing a smile to his face.
He visualises her. Plays, mushkil, aye dil hai. He returns home. He looks at the newspaper. He remains disoriented. Navjot arrives and observes. He heads upstairs. She sits in rage. Megha visits the court with her family. Megha is asked to come by Surinder, but why is she waiting? Megha remains silent. Manoj approaches her and takes her hand. “Leave my hand,” she says. “Not here,” replies Surinder. “I want to speak with Megha immediately,” Manoj says. He brandishes a knife. “What is this?” wonders Surinder. Manoj responds, “I’m not trying to attack you; I’ll cut my wrist. Get out of here.”
Navjot pleads with Shagun to halt her actions. In response, Shagun threatens self-harm. Concerned, Navjot calls out to Arjun for help. Despite persuasion, Shagun adamantly refuses medication. Arjun attempts to calm her down and encourages her to take the medicine. However, Shagun continues to deny it. Manoj remarks that she still loves him, but Megha disagrees and claims she lacks the bravery to take her own life. Arjun intervenes and takes the gun from Shagun’s grasp. She fears he will leave her, but he reassures her he’s staying by her side. He embraces her in support and comfort.
Megha is adamant that she cannot continue living with this animal and wants a divorce. Manoj, with tears in his eyes, expresses his desire to speak. Arjun notices that their mother has fallen asleep and questions how she could have had an attack now. He wonders if the dose of her medication is too high. Navjot, recalling her angry feeding of the pills to Shagun, confesses that she may have accidentally given her a double dose. She explains that Shagun tends to sleep more after taking extra medication due to her old age and asks if they want to go somewhere else. Arjun agrees but insists on staying with their mother until their father arrives. Manoj takes responsibility for his actions and admits that Megha’s accusations are true. Kohli and Kavita are shocked by this revelation.
“Megha has also beaten me,” he says. According to Megha, I acted in self-defence. He claims that my dad should be punished for torturing Megha as well. You punish me for domestic abuse, and I will be taken away from my parents and forced to live with Megha. Megha is upset and is requesting a divorce; I threatened to cut her wrist, but she stopped me because she loves me. “What nonsense?” Megha asks. “Make a decision now,” Manoj’s attorney advises. “Who would want to stay with such a shameless man?” Megha’s lawyer says. The judge asks Megha if she will pardon him.
