Megha senses something off, but Navjot blesses both Megha and Arjun and embraces them as the family celebrates. The mood is festive. Shagun and Navjot help Megha prepare for her godh bharai. Shagun slips bangles on Megha’s wrists and smiles as Megha returns the smile. Navjot carefully applies alta while Megha asks her to let her get up. Shagun explains that Navjot barely slept because she wanted to mend things in Arjun’s life, that she apologised to him and promised to handle the godh bharai, and that she is finally happy again. Megha smiles, reassured by Shagun’s words.

Once Shagun leaves, Navjot’s pleasant mask drops. Megha imagines Navjot stabbing her, a cruel vision that shows how much she distrusts Navjot. Navjot hands over jewellery and accuses Megha of suspecting her. Megha denies it, but Navjot starts an unnerving story about killing a snake. Her words darken the room. She claims she loves Arjun so much that she will not leave his fate to a snake’s hand, and she calls Megha a Naagin sitting on Arjun’s kundali. Navjot threatens to destroy Megha and her unborn child.
