The episode starts with Megha shouting to Surinder to come fast, and Sonam will hang herself. Surinder, Manoj, and Kripal get shocked. They rush upstairs. They ask Sonam to open the door. Sonam hangs. Manoj and Kripal break the door. They get Sonam down. They ask Sonam for water. Sonam says to let me die.
In response, Megha stops her. Sonam says, “I asked my father to buy a house for me before marriage, so I took away his life’s earnings.” Megha says no; daughters are earnings to parents. She hugs Sonam and says, “We are with you.” Manoj says we should leave Sonam and Megha alone.
When Megha comes downstairs and cries, Manoj is cooking in the kitchen. He tries to cheer her up. Sonam is her sister. We girls don’t have a name, a house, or a city, and our husbands make us fall for money. Is money so important that you sacrifice someone’s life? She hugs him and cries. Surinder observes as the Inspector explains that the family hesitates to file a complaint because they fear it will damage the girl’s reputation. Arjun, becoming enraged, declares that if this man evades punishment, he will continue to harm other girls. Ranjeeta interjects, reminding them that while Megha saved Sonam from suicide, her family believes her life has been ruined. She asks Arjun to accompany her to her home, where Sonam resides. Agreeing with Arjun, she urges him not to get too involved in the case. They depart. Manoj confesses his love for Megha, and she reciprocates with a smile. As he accidentally bumps into Arjun, he apologizes, but Arjun dismisses it as not being a problem.
Arjun is our Sir ji. He’s going to talk to Sonam, Rameeta says. She says Manoj is Megha’s future husband. Arjun leaves. Megha says Arjun can’t be anyone’s friend. Manoj leaves. Sonam answers the police about Rajveer, aka Pankaj. Arjun tries to talk to Sonam about Rajveer. Megha says he has taken 90 lakhs, claiming he was buying Sonam and him a house in Canada. Sonam asks for the money back.
She asks Sonam about his family, and he replies that his family lives in Canada. Megha holds Sonam. She asks Arjun not to question Sonam anymore. The lady asks Sonam if he told me about a village or person. Arjun says you need to stay alert in general. You got a big hint, and you didn’t find anything strange. Sonam says no. He said he had to go back and start working. Megha disagrees with him.
She says her life is ruined because of Pankaj’s mistake. Arjun says she is saved; we caught the man. She says, put him in jail. He asks, is it not the citizen’s responsibility? Who will file the FIR? Sonam is getting sick, so don’t shout, she says. According to Arjun, the girls didn’t file an FIR, and you don’t either, so the police couldn’t do anything.
