Rahul says there is no marriage certificate for annulment. Mauli asks him to get the certificate. Rati acts good and lies to them. They leave. He goes to Tanvi. He says Rati and my marriage is breaking up. Tanvi asks him to perform rituals. He says no, sorry. She says your wish and leaves.
He sees a chunri there. He takes it for Mauli. He makes Mauli wear the chunri. They smile. He says you will become the house Bahu, so wear this chunri during the rasams. They hold hands. Mauli says Saas gives this chunri to bahu, Tanvi will give it to me. He says I like your confidence. She says go and meet the lawyer, I have to leave, patients are waiting. She goes. He smiles.
Jyoti hands the chunri to Mauli, assuring her that it will be worn during the rasam. Janki begins making preparations but stumbles, prompting Mauli to step in and steady her. Grateful, Janki thanks her and reminds her that Rati will be placing the kalash in this chunri. She then turns to Manoj, who disagrees with her decision, claiming it’s unfair for Mauli to do Rati’s ritual as she loves Rahul. However, Janki insists she knows what she’s doing and asks Manoj not to argue. Despite Manoj’s objections, Mauli agrees to follow Janki’s command and becomes emotional thinking about the day when she will become their bahu.
The rituals are done by Rati. Mauli cries. Janki makes Rati perform them. Suprabha watches and is happy. Rati performs the rituals. Mauli becomes sad. Jyoti makes Rati fall. Rati loses the Kalash. Mauli catches it and places it while she falls. Jyoti makes Mauli wear the chunri. Everyone stares in disbelief.
Seeing Jyoti makes Rahul happy. Janki and everyone angrily shout at her. Jyoti claps. Tanvi asks why you touched the kalash. Mauli cries. She says my clarification won’t help, you will think what you want, it was Ram ji’s wish. Rati says I held it tightly, I’m not sure how it got away. Tanvi scolds her. The next puja will be done by Rati. Tanvi says yes, Janki asks Mauli to wash her hands. Rahul smiles when Maul sees Maul.
The jewellery is taken by Jyoti. Mauli says she won’t do something wrong, or she won’t let you do something wrong. She gets an envelope. She checks the marriage certificate. She recalls Rati’s lie. Jyoti says Rati is cunning, she is a liar. Mauli says you are right. She calls Rahul and says the marriage certificate is at home, guess who has it, come home soon. He asks what, I’m coming. Rati comes to her room. Mauli and Jyoti hide with her.
Rati, Mauli and Jyoti were all present as Rati frantically searched for the marriage certificate. She knew she had to tell everything to Rahul before Rati could manipulate him into believing her lies and causing a scene. Luckily, Mauli stepped in and showed Rahul the damning piece of evidence. He was understandably shocked and angry at Rati’s deception. But before they could discuss further, Rahul received a phone call that he had to attend to urgently. Mauli tried to stop him, but Jyoti advised her to let him go as Rati wouldn’t be able to do anything today. However, Mauli insisted on staying with Rahul, while Rati plotted behind their backs. Just then, Rahul walked in with the certificate in his hand, leaving Rati stunned.
