The Episode begins with Rahul conversing with Nanhe about the significance of men observing fasts like Ram ji. The couples sing and partake in the sindoor ritual upon Janki’s request. Manisha arrives home and is flooded with memories when she sees her brothers. Emotionally overwhelmed, she sheds tears. Admitting his mistake, Manoj apologizes for not having the courage to face anyone for 24 hours and presents her with a shagun plate. He then asks about her husband Amit and if she, too, observed Janki’s fast. Displaying his affection, he hands her a beautifully decorated suhaagan plate and asks about Amit’s whereabouts.
As Manisha recalls her wedding day, Bade Papa says there will be no baraat. Amit will not marry Manisha because Manoj refuses to marry Amit’s sister, and Manoj flees. Everyone cries. Vijay says we begged them to listen to us, but they wouldn’t. The flashback ends. Manisha recalls the taunts and throws the suhaagan plate. She scolds him for joking with her. Manoj asks what she means.
Nanhe’s hand connects with Manoj’s face, accompanied by accusations of bringing shame to the family name for marrying his lover and fleeing like a coward. The shock on Manisha’s parent’s faces is palpable, while Manisha herself is reminded of her heartache. Nanhe questions their surprise, reminding them of the previous terms they set before accepting Manisha as their daughter-in-law. As tears fall from Manoj’s eyes, Vijay admits coming to explain things to him but is swayed by someone more important than his sister. Seeing this, Manisha retorts that he prioritized his ego over her well-being even when he left home. The eldest brother, Rahul, attempts to place the blame on their father for contributing to her tragedy, causing Manisha to scold him and declare that she only considers one brother alive: Akshay. The rest are dead to her. In response to Ajay and Vijay’s arguments, Manoj fires back with his question: why did they leave home?
