The episode begins with Manoj expressing his belief that Tanvi will eventually understand that their children are meant to be together. His friend Vijay embraces him in agreement. Meanwhile, Janki instructs her daughter Jyoti to prepare for the haldi rasam and asks Saloni to assist in getting Mauli ready. As Mauli approaches Tanvi and Ajanta, she acknowledges Tanvi as her mother and offers her bangles as a symbol of their bond. She then turns to Ajanta and explains that despite being raised by her, she could never take anything away from her as she was the one who taught her how to face the world. Ultimately, Mauli gifts Ajanta with the jewelry, highlighting that her love and blessings are as valuable as her mother’s bangles.
When Ajanta takes the jewelry, she says, “I was angry when I lost my mother as a child, but now I have two mothers.” Saloni calls her. Mauli asks her to apply for Haldi to me. She goes. Manoj comes. Ajanta says I did not ask her for jewelry; she gave it to me. Manoj says Mauli sacrificed the bangle and passed Tanvi’s test, but Ajanta failed. He leaves.
Angry Tanvi and Ajanta sit for haldi rasam. Mehendi wala ghar…. Plays… Rahul sees Mauli’s hands and thinks she’s given the bangles to mom. Mauli replies, “I thought of something and gave her the bangles, don’t ruin things.” Rahul says mom is just bothering you. She says it is fine, if she comes to bless you, nothing is more important than that. I want her blessings on this marriage.
Manoj asks Ajanta to come and apply the haldi to Mauli. Janki asks Ajanta to come. Ajanta tells Janki, “I won’t apply rasam during my period, so I’ll rest a bit.” Janki nods. Ajanta leaves. Manoj says I’ll do all the rasams, Mauli. Janki says, I know you’re Mauli’s parents, but the suhaagans do the rasams. Jyoti asks if I can do this rasam. Janki says yes. They all smile.
Getting love for Mauli from Jyoti is what Manoj thanks her for. Jyoti applies haldi to her. Everyone else applies haldi to Mauli. Golu asks who will apply haldi to Rahul. Vaibhav says Tanvi will. But Tanvi will not be there. Janki asks Vijay to get Tanvi. Everyone is surprised when Tanvi arrives. Vijay says to come and apply Haldi to Rahul. She says no, she’s going for some imp work and has a parlor appointment.
Vijay gets angry. He says you won’t go anywhere. She says I’ll go. Rahul says mom, stop, you asked Mauli’s bangles, she gave it to you, now you’re supposed to attend my haldi, it won’t be complete without you. Tanvi says great that you reminded me, Mauli, take your bangles, they were hurting me, keep them. Janki asks Tanvi to do rasam. Tanvi refuses. Vijay shouts Tanvi. Janki says Tanvi’s thinking will change.
Rahul carelessly tosses the sidestand, causing it to land on his foot. In pain, he calls out for his mother. Concerned, everyone rushes over, including Tanvi. She inquires about his injury and applies turmeric paste to soothe the pain. Tanvi scolds Rahul for being reckless while he expresses his gratitude for her care. His words bring smiles to everyone’s faces. As Tanvi leaves, Rahul affectionately tells her he loves her and winks at Mauli. In a playful tone, Rahul requests Janki to cover him in haldi and turn him yellow quickly. The group laughs as Vijay and others apply haldi on Rahul’s body. Golu adds to the joy by playing the dhol, and they all celebrate together.
He hugs Mauli and says I told you mom would apply haldi to me. She said you tricked Tanvi, will you trick her in marriage also, try to understand, don’t be impulsive, tell me what to do. He says you tell me what to do. She says you are lucky to have a mom, I can’t take you away from your mom, and he says no, she is just stubborn, we will marry without mom’s blessing.
