Raghav arrives at Mishri’s door and knocks, requesting to enter. Upon seeing him, Mishri becomes flustered and covers her face with a ghunghat. Surprised by her actions, Raghav inquires about the reason for the veil. Mishri explains that she is unfamiliar with Raghav and, therefore, feels uncomfortable revealing her identity. However, Raghav clarifies that he is not a stranger as he is engaged to her sister, Vaani. He reminds her that their family and guests eagerly await them, but Mishri insists on joining later and asks him to proceed without her.
Raghav has a hunch that she does not want to attend the engagement but denies it. He then grasps her hand and guides her towards the hall, causing Kalpana to feel upset. She finds it improper that although Vaani is the bride, all attention is on Mishri, veiled and dressed like a bride.
Gopal’s anxiety heightens as he worries about Raghav catching a glimpse of Mishri’s face. Observant Vaani notices Mishri donning a ghunghat and inquires about why she hid her face. Blushing, Mishri claims to feel shy. However, Vaani reminds her that everyone has already seen her face and asks why she is hesitant now. Sulekha interjects, reminding them that time is passing quickly, and urges them to exchange rings promptly before the auspicious moment passes.
Vaani informs Kalpana that they must conduct a brief “Muh Dikhai” ceremony for her sister. Curious, Kalpana inquires about its significance, and Vaani clarifies. She unveils Mishri’s face by lifting her ghunghat, revealing her true identity. Raghav is taken aback at the sight of Mishri standing before him. Anxious now, Mishri observes as Sulekha instructs Vaani to proceed with the ring exchange.
As Vaani slips the ring onto Raghav’s finger, the room applauds. But when it’s Raghav’s turn to return the gesture, he pauses, memories of his past wedding with Mishri flooding back. Unintentionally, he slides the ring onto Mishri’s finger instead, causing Vaani to cry out in shock. Raghav is taken aback as well, realizing his error.
Furious, Kalpana snatches the ring from Mishri’s hand and cautions her to avoid Vaani. The other guests mock the scene, teasing that the groom might have a soft spot for his bride’s sister. Embarrassed, Vaani retreats from the gathering. Mishri attempts to go after her, but Raghav intervenes and insists she should remain put.
After Vaani retreats to her room in tears, Raghav joins her. She expresses her frustration about his supposed distraction during their engagement. Raghav is unable to respond, causing Vaani to become even more upset. She regrets believing he was invested in their engagement.
Despite Raghav’s attempt to reassure her, Vaani can’t help feeling let down. She voices her disappointment about his family’s disapproval and expresses her belief that he should have supported her. She reminds him of all her sacrifices for their relationship, only to be disappointed by his actions. In an earnest tone, Raghav implores Vaani to look into his eyes and understand that she is the only one he loves and holds a special place in his heart and life. However, Mishri overhears this exchange and is devastated.
Feeling reassured, Vaani tightly embraced Raghav as he confessed to his mistake. He requested that she wait downstairs for him and assured her that he would join her shortly.
Raghav pulls Mishri aside and confronts her, reminding her of their previous argument, during which she insisted on living a solitary life and demanded he stay out of it. Now, he accuses her of intentionally infiltrating his family to cause chaos in his and Vaani’s lives. He believes there is a sly nature lurking behind Mishri’s innocent facade.
Mishri attempts to clarify that she was unaware of Raghav’s relationship with Vaani. However, Raghav becomes angry and questions how she could be oblivious while residing in his home. He blames her for noticing him in the pictures around the house and intentionally creating problems. In a rage, he declares that she has already ruined his life and will not be allowed to do the same to Vaani. Accusing her of being motivated by greed, he throws money at her and insists that she permanently leave his life.
