Dadaji is livid with Gopal for hurting Mishri and delivers a stinging slap. He firmly reminds Gopal that they had welcomed him as a family member but now orders the inspector to take him into custody. As the police escort away Gopal, Ranjith smugly looks on. However, Mishri is not pleased with what has transpired. Parvathi expresses her worry for her daughter-in-law, who has suffered greatly at the hands of Gopal.
Vaani promptly interjects, clarifying that Mishri is not her daughter-in-law, and firmly asks Raghav to tell the truth. Raghav then reveals that the entire scenario was merely a ploy to catch Gopal in the act. Mishri expresses regret for deceiving Dadaji, but he questions whether she was using her lie to claim her rights.
Ridhi embraces Raghav with gratitude for not going through with the marriage to Mishri. She expresses that she would have never been able to bring Mishri, who is considered a servant, as her sister-in-law at college without being mocked. Chithra mentions feeling embarrassed and shares that it has affected her work schedule. Dadaji inquires if this is accurate and Kalpana chimes in, adding if he needs further evidence. Dadaji acknowledges that he can see the truth in her eyes.
Despite the accusations, Dadaji refuses to believe it was all a lie. He highlights Mishri’s selfless actions in risking her life to save Raghav and her relentless efforts to free him from jail. Additionally, he notes that she treats the family with utmost care and consideration. Kalpana insists that Vaani is still unaware of the truth and encourages her to open her eyes and see it for herself.
Raghav explains to Dadaji that he comprehends the situation: it was an orchestrated act to expose the culprit, where he and Mishri played the roles of husband and wife. He lauds Mishri for her devotion to the family, acknowledging that Vaani holds a special place in his heart. Furthermore, he mentions that he and Vaani have plans to marry in the near future.
Mishri appears lost in contemplation. Upon Raghav’s inquiry, she reveals her disbelief that Gopal is the culprit. While Raghav acknowledges her perspective, he dismisses her doubts as overthinking. However, Mishri firmly believes that women have a keen memory for specific details, such as a man’s touch. She remains convinced that someone else is to blame despite Gopal taking responsibility.
As Ranjith arrives with the sound of drums, the family is surprised. He shares that Supriya is expecting, and congratulations are exchanged all around. Mishri embraces Supriya but recalls a conversation with Ranjith, where he apologized for his actions and expressed a desire to change for their child’s sake. He had asked her to protect his reputation, warning that their child would suffer if the truth ever came out. This leaves Supriya feeling guilty as she knows Gopal is being punished instead of Ranjith. Doubts start creeping into Mishri’s mind about her understanding of the situation. Despite Ranjith’s urging to celebrate together, Kalpana commands Mishri to work.
As Raghav embraces Mishri, he compliments her as a lucky charm. He notes the family’s recent good news since she joined them. Vaani, on the other hand, conceals her envy and joins in the celebration. Later, Mishri prepares to leave Raghav’s room, and both put up a facade of happiness. As Raghav takes Mishri’s pillow, he suggests using it to express his emotions. Mishri agrees and lets him proceed.
After Vaani’s unsuccessful attempt to involve Raghav in the earring selection, he appears uninterested and swiftly finds a reason to depart. At the same time, Mishri busies herself to prepare for the upcoming puja. Dadaji voices his opinion to Sulekha that Mishri possesses all the necessary qualities to be an ideal daughter-in-law for their household and surpasses Vaani in this regard as she is more attentive and devoted to the family’s well-being.
Despite Mishri’s protest, Ranjith insists she eats the sweet. However, as she scolds him, he considers how unaware she is of his intentions for her during the Visarjan ceremony.
