After apologizing to his family for an important phone call that he needs to deal with, Raghav is stopped by Kalpana. She inquired about what he was going to share with them. Raghav explains that Vaani is interested in hearing the truth. Parvathi becomes anxious, worried that Raghav might disclose his marriage to Mishri. Just as Raghav is about to speak, Mala enters and greets him. Reminding him of their shared academic past, she playfully remarks that he wasn’t always as innocent as he appears now. Mala then asks if he’s married, and Raghav responds by revealing his love for someone else. Excitedly, Mala insists on taking a selfie with him.
Annoyed by Mala’s disruptive interruption, Vaani introduces herself as Raghav’s soon-to-be wife. However, Mala’s advice for Raghav not to marry Vaani fuels her fury and sparks an argument. While Sulekha tries to explain that Mala is just a friend, Mala dismissively refers to Vaani as “mental.” This only further angers Vaani, causing her to break some plates in a rage and accidentally injuring Mishri. Raghav scolds Vaani and rushes to take care of Mishri. Sulekha then reprimands Vaani for her behavior.
Vaani believes the family’s reaction would be the same if she talked to another man. To prove this, she begins flirting with a waiter, which irritates Sulekha even more. At the same time, Raghav confides in Mishri, expressing regret for taking her advice. He holds Vaani responsible for overreacting to a seemingly innocent interaction with his friend and thinks that she is intentionally causing issues between them. However, Mishri reassures him that her intentions are not malicious and reminds him that hiding the truth will only lead to further pain.
Frustration with Vaani’s behavior prompts Sulekha to bring up the past, referencing Meenu’s death and insinuating that Vaani is emotionally unstable. This causes Vaani to feel trapped, and she admits to being “mental,” lashing out by throwing bottles and even threatening self-harm with a broken bottle. Mishri is alarmed and implores Vaani to halt her actions, reminding her of their once close relationship as sisters. After some time, Mishri successfully soothes Vaani and guides her away from the tense scene, reminding her never to behave in such a way again.
Despite Mishri’s attempts, Raghav is feeling devastated. He requests her to refrain from getting involved in his relationship with Vaani. Raghav expresses his true feelings for Vaani in front of their entire family, saying that he desires to wed her and that she holds a special place in his heart. However, Vaani clarifies that Raghav must promise only to have thoughts of her. Hesitatingly, Raghav glances at Mishri, causing Chithra to become suspicious.
As Vaani urges Raghav to respond, Kalpana asks whether he would forsake his daughter for someone else. Raghav refutes this notion and suggests that Vaani should make a similar commitment not to communicate with other men. Despite knowing that his views may appear old-fashioned, he stands firmly by them. He poses the question—if she cannot make such a promise, how can he?
Vaani, feeling overwhelmed, suggests they take a break from each other and meet again when their love has grown stronger. Chithra then informs Sulekha that Vaani wants to distance herself from Raghav for a while. Amid his frustration, Raghav directs his anger towards Mishri and warns her to stay away from him.

However, when Raghav caught wind of this conversation, he became infuriated and began to suspect that Mishri was intentionally trying to drive a wedge between him and Vaani. As a result, Raghav took matters into his own hands by assigning Mishri a new project in college, most likely as a way to get back at her.
