Raghav talks to his mother, Parvathi, about his attempts to persuade Vaani. However, she seems indifferent towards him and maintains her distance despite his sincere efforts. Upon hearing this, Parvathi recalls that Mishri had made her swear not to reveal something to Raghav; otherwise, she would have directly discussed it with him.
Parvathi counsels Raghav that genuine love is powerful and will keep them united. She stresses the importance of commitment in marriage and urges him to embrace his role, regardless of his personal preferences. Additionally, Parvathi suggests showing Vaani sincere love, believing that she will eventually be receptive to him.
Afterward, Mishri notices Vaani’s distress and remembers Raghav’s words. She expresses to Vaani that her happiness relies on Vaani’s well-being, but Vaani brushes off her concern, explaining that Raghav has yet to make an effort to convince her. Realizing she won’t be able to persuade Vaani, Mishri opts for a different approach. She proposes to Vaani that perhaps Raghav is untrustworthy and they should consider finding a new groom for her. Unfortunately, Raghav overhears and concludes that Mishri is intentionally causing issues between him and Vaani. Hurt by this misconception, he leaves, believing Mishri intends to tear them apart.
Despite Mishri’s doubts, Vaani remains steadfast in her belief that Raghav’s love for her is unwavering and he would never marry another girl. She also clarifies that she has no intention of marrying anyone else but him. However, Mishri questions why Vaani is punishing Raghav for someone else’s actions if she truly trusts him. Although Mishri agrees with Vaani’s decision to wait for Raghav to confess the truth before getting married, she reminds her that an outside party interfered when Raghav was about to come clean.
In the next scene, Mishri is busy with a school project centered around generating electricity using a potato. Suddenly, Raghav barges in and tosses the project aside, insisting that Mishri switches to a volcano project. This reminds Mishri that he had initially assigned her the current project. However, Raghav indirectly warns her of not succeeding in her endeavors and demands she work on the volcano project instead. He even goes as far as to threaten to suspend her from class for a month if she refuses. Though Mishri apologizes, Raghav dismisses her and orders her to leave. Undeterred, Mishri takes it upon herself to complete her original project, proving to Raghav that she will not be belittled or controlled by him.
At dinner with his family, Raghav discovers that Vaani’s family still hasn’t contacted them. Sulekha then suggests looking for a different bride for him. Raghav quickly changes the topic and becomes worried upon realizing Mishri hasn’t returned yet.
Parvati raises concerns about being late to school, but Raghav brushes them off, stating that she is not his responsibility. He criticizes their attention to a servant. Sulekha adds fuel to the fire, but Raghav remains anxious about Mishri.
As the evening wore on, Mishri remained focused on her project. However, a sense of unease crept over her as she felt like someone was watching her. At that very moment, Raghav also began to feel uneasy about Mishri’s safety and reflexively checked his car keys. To his horror, he realized a masked intruder had stolen them. The shock was palpable when Mishri came face to face with the masked man in the lab.
