She questions who could have done such a thing. Vaani immediately accuses Mishri, alleging that she orchestrated the event to appear as Raghav’s savior and earn his family’s admiration. Mishri defends herself, pointing out that if she had handled kerosene, the smell would still linger on her hands. Sulekha agrees, stating that kerosene residue is difficult to remove. To prove her innocence, Mishri asks Raghav to check her hands and also inspect everyone else’s, as she suspects someone from the household is responsible.

Chithra dismisses Mishri’s claim, questioning why they should comply with a mere servant’s demand. However, Mishri insists that identifying the perpetrator is crucial. Raghav agrees and begins inspecting everyone’s hands, starting with Mishri. After checking, he confirms that she is innocent. Sulekha then asks him to check her hands as well, and he continues examining the others.

As Raghav approaches Vaani, she grows visibly anxious. Sulekha intervenes, insisting that Vaani, as his wife, would never harm him. Mishri acknowledges this but reminds Raghav that fairness requires he check Vaani’s hands, just as he did with everyone else. Hesitantly, Vaani extends her hands.

At that moment, Kalpana confesses to the crime. Sulekha demands an explanation. Kalpana justifies her actions by blaming Mishri, claiming that Raghav has been prioritizing Mishri over Vaani, overshadowing an important day for her daughter. In frustration and anger, she orchestrated the explosion to teach Raghav a lesson. Parvathi reprimands Kalpana, warning her about the potential danger she posed to Raghav’s life. Furious, Vaani disowns her mother, expressing her disappointment and vowing never to forgive her. She then forcefully expels Kalpana from the house.

Kalpana pleads with Vaani, insisting she acted out of love for her daughter. However, Vaani coldly shuts the door on her. Mishri calmly states that she will leave once Raghav fully recovers but, until then, she must stay as he has taken responsibility for her. Raghav reaffirms his decision, asserting that Mishri will remain in the house, and no one should question it.

Later, as Raghav sits deep in thought, Vaani attempts to get closer to him. Just then, Mishri enters without knocking, prompting Vaani to scold her angrily. Mishri apologizes, explaining that she came to give Raghav his medicine. Vaani insists that, as his wife, she will handle his care. However, Mishri notices that Vaani is about to administer the wrong medicine and instinctively knocks it away. This enrages Vaani, who slaps Mishri. Defending herself, Mishri states that the medicine was incorrect. Parvathi arrives and demands an explanation. When Vaani accuses Mishri of meddling, Parvathi sides with Mishri, revealing that the medicine Vaani almost gave Raghav contained an ingredient to which he is allergic. Parvathi sternly reminds Vaani that it is her duty to ensure Raghav’s well-being. Realizing her mistake, Vaani admits she acted under stress.

As Mishri leaves, Raghav pretends to feel unwell and feigns sleep. Mishri becomes increasingly suspicious of Vaani’s behavior. Meanwhile, Vaani secretly meets her mother, thanking her for covering up the truth. She admits that if Kalpana hadn’t intervened, Raghav would have exposed her. Determined to seek revenge, Vaani vows to make the family pay for their treatment of her mother. Unbeknownst to them, Mishri arrives just in time and overhears their entire conversation.
