Ranjith confronts Mishri with a threat to disclose her marriage certificate to Raghav’s family and taunts her about her position as a servant in their household. He provokes her with questions about how Raghav’s family will react to the news of her being their daughter-in-law and also brings up Vaani’s complaint against him. He allows Mishri to break free from this predicament in exchange for dropping the complaint. With no other alternatives, Mishri agrees and signs the form. Ultimately, Ranjith departs.
As time passes, Vaani grows increasingly concerned for Raghav’s well-being. Not only has he been unresponsive to her attempts at communication, but Mishri’s phone is also out of reach, which is abnormal for her. Determined to uncover the reason behind their sudden absence, Vaani takes it upon herself to investigate further. Despite Kalpana’s reassurances that Mishri is simply a servant, Vaani remains unconvinced and persists in looking into the situation.
After receiving news about violence against women, Mishri becomes aware of the prevalent belief that girls are vulnerable. While pondering on this issue, she witnesses two men snatching a girl’s dupatta while passing by on a bike. Without hesitation, Mishri defends the girl, forcing the men to flee. She then offers words of caution to the girl.
The incident served as a sharp reminder for Mishri of her past struggles – enduring her aunt’s torture, being coerced into marriage by her uncle, and facing discrimination from Ranjith simply because she is a woman. However, it also sparked a sense of bravery in Mishri as she vowed to stand up for herself. Though she initially considered sparing Ranjith for the sake of Raghav and Vaani, her mindset changed, and she realized that taking action was necessary. Seeing him giving chocolate to a child triggered a fit of anger within Mishri, causing her to break a glass in his hand and attack him with a bicycle chain.
As Ranjith hits the ground, Mishri rips the form she had previously signed. She explains that she had considered sparing him for Raghav and Vaani but has since recognized that he must face the consequences. She berates him for his lack of regard for women and his belief that they are all weak. She proceeds to assault him physically.
Simultaneously, Vaani arrives at Raghav’s residence and begins her quest for Mishri. Her frustration is evident as she lambasts the family for neglecting Mishri’s welfare and treating her as a mere servant. Despite Kalpana’s attempt to stop her from meeting Raghav through a phone call, Vaani hangs up in annoyance.
While the two were speaking, Mishri approached Ranjith and expressed indifference towards the possibility of her truth being revealed. However, she made it clear that she would not tolerate any further acts of betrayal from him. She sternly cautioned him against laying his hands on another woman and firmly asserted that he deserved to face the consequences for his deeds by going to jail.
After Ranjith threatens to send the marriage certificate to her family, Mishri attacks him again. In a rage, she tosses his phone and restrains him, determined to reveal his deceit. However, Ranjith fights back, striking her with his head and later with a brick, causing Mishri to fall. Despite this assault, her resolve to hold him accountable remains unwavering.
Upon their return to the house, Vaani directs her anger towards Sulekha, who suggests involving the authorities. Vaani dismisses the idea, and Raghav comes to her aid as fatigue takes over. In a detached manner, he informs her that Mishri has left because she is merely a servant. Fueled by fury, Vaani questions his authority to decide for Mishri. She demands to know his connection to Mishri. To which Mishri interjects by revealing, “He is my husband.”
