Mishri advises Raghav to prioritize his relationship with Vaani and resolve misconceptions between them. She urges him to communicate with her, but Raghav, consumed by rage, shatters his phone. He directs his anger towards Mishri, accusing her of feigning concern and warning her not to bring up Vaani’s name again.
According to Raghav, Mishri is solely focused on obtaining her rights as his wife. As a result, he forcefully adorns her with jewellery, disregarding her objections. He justifies his actions by claiming that he has the authority to do so as her husband and accuses her of being covetous. He explains that each piece of jewellery serves as a reminder of the suffering she caused him. He then presents her with a dried rose, explaining that it represents the thorns that have plagued their relationship. Despite his hand bleeding from handling it, he declines Mishri’s offer to assist him. He states that this is what she desired—his responsibility as a husband.
Angry and exasperated, Mishri splashes water onto Raghav’s face and demands to know his intentions. She implores him to understand the gravity of the situation, reminding him of how he had coerced her into staying in their home. Refusing to let him off the hook easily, she warns that if he sees their marriage as punishment, he will have to suffer through it with her. Confidently, she declares that he cannot shatter her resolve no matter his tactics.
As Sulekha expresses her decision to stay home due to worries about ridicule, Ridhi voices her anxieties about encountering friends, and Ranjith starts packing, realising Mishri’s determination to expose him. In response, Sulekha declares a plan to change her name if she can’t kick out Mishri, reassuring Ranjith that he doesn’t have to leave. He then devises a plot to complete what he previously failed at but becomes alarmed upon overhearing Mishri discussing evidence against the culprit.
Mishri questions him, inquiring if he’s only there to check her well-being. She acknowledges his concern, and then he suggests she leave the house and stand up for herself. He says she won’t be treated fairly under the current circumstances. When she requests his phone since Raghav broke hers, he hesitates.
As Kalpana attempts to sway Vaani into reporting Raghav, the inspector reminds them that a case cannot be filed solely based on Raghav’s failure to marry her. However, if he had caused her harm, it would be a different situation. Despite Vaani’s discomfort with the dishonesty, Kalpana persists and falsely accuses Raghav of causing a wound on Vaani’s hand. During this manipulation, Mishri reaches out to Vaani and begs for another opportunity to explain the misunderstandings, but Vaani abruptly ends the call.
Following that, Chithra accuses Mishri of taking their jewellery without permission. In response, Mishri explains that Raghav had gifted it to her. Despite her explanation, the family remains sceptical. Sulekha adamantly believes that Mishri is not fit to be her daughter-in-law because she is merely a servant. As a cruel act, Sulekha forces Mishri to wash her feet and drink the water. In response, Mishri stands her ground and firmly declares that she has no desire to become Sulekha’s daughter-in-law anyway.
