Sulekha commands Mishri to consume the unclean water, but she declines. Mishri expresses that she has no interest in becoming the daughter-in-law of this household and that polluted water will not purify her. Instead, she presents Ganga water as a replacement, noting its purity and effectiveness for cleansing.
Mishri challenges Sulekha’s criticism of her cleanliness simply because she cares for the household. Unlike Parvathi, who gets her hands dirty while preparing meals for the family, no one labels her as dirty. Furthermore, Mishri questions whether Sulekha has thought about the dust on her feet when she frequents the temple. She also mentions how people immerse themselves in the Yamuna to absolve their wrongdoings, yet no one deems the river filthy. Despite Sulekha’s attempts to insult her, Mishri stands firmly and defends herself.
Chithra uses her phone to capture the conversation and shows it to Mishri, who questions her motives. Chithra explains that Mishri doesn’t want to continue living in the house or fulfil her duties as a daughter-in-law. She also mentions that others in the household share this sentiment. Chithra then threatens to share the recording with Mishri’s grandmother. Worried and scared, Mishri begs her not to do it, but Chithra persists and even tries to make her drink contaminated water. Fortunately, Raghav steps in just in time, preventing Mishri from consuming it.
Sulekha stated that her desire for revenge against Raghav drove her actions towards Mishri. However, Raghav firmly believes that this is not the right approach. He informs his family that he will not permit them to harm her even though this conflict is between him and Mishri. He stresses that he must handle the situation with his wife, not theirs. Vaani witnesses this exchange and accuses Mishri of purposely orchestrating it for her benefit. Kalpana advises Vaani that placing trust in Mishri was a mistake.
Despite Mishri’s attempt to explain, Vaani rebukes her and instructs her to keep her distance. She proceeds to caution that failure to comply will result in drastic action that will cause harm to Raghav. Expressing disappointment, she informs Raghav of her unexpected betrayal and threatens legal action against him.
Afterwards, Sulekha can be seen praying for Raghav at the temple. When Mishri asks for Prasad, Sulekha declines, as she does not consider herself a family member. She then instructs Parvathi to make breakfast, and Supriya performs aarti for Mishri, emphasizing its importance. Before leaving, Supriya kindly presents Mishri with a gift.
While Mishri attempts to reach Vaani and express gratitude towards Raghav for defending her, he quickly clarifies that his actions were for his own sake, not hers. He clarifies that he has no concern for her and only intervenes to prevent his family from mistreating her. However, he cautions that this is just the start and reinforces his animosity towards her. When Mishri reminds him of her equal rights in his room, Raghav bluntly tells her to focus on herself.
Ranjith borrows Raghav’s phone to contact the inspector and inquire about the progress of the investigation. He discovers that the CCTV footage is inconclusive and realizes it is imperative to remove Mishri before any additional evidence surfaces. Simultaneously, Mishri utilizes the perfume gifted by Supriya, prompting Raghav to educate her on its application mockingly. He remarks that while she may be able to mask her scent, she cannot hide the corruption within her. As they speak, law enforcement arrives to detain Raghav.
