Sulekha inquires about the reason for the police’s presence, to which the inspector responds by stating that Raghav is being arrested. Perplexed, Raghav questions his wrongdoing. The inspector clarifies that Raghav had promised to marry Vaani and then proceeded to harm her, even resorting to physical violence. Mishri begs Vaani not to make a hasty decision, but Raghav interjects, ordering Mishri to refrain from interfering.
Raghav inquires of Vaani whether he had caused her any harm, while Mishri affirms his innocence. Yet, Kalpana reveals a picture of Raghav and Vaani’s engagement to the authorities, accusing him of betraying her by marrying Mishri. Upon being questioned about her relationship with Raghav, Mishri confirms that she is his spouse but maintains that he never inflicted any harm upon Vaani.
Kalpana cautions Mishri to distance herself from Vaani. In response, a dejected Vaani declares she will no longer defend Mishri like she used to. However, Mishri remains resolute and explains that she cannot allow Vaani to make unfounded accusations against Raghav. Doubtful, Vaani questions if Mishri is asserting her rights as Raghav’s wife, but Mishri refutes this and reiterates that she is only speaking the truth.
According to Kalpana, Raghav is facing jail time today, followed by Mishri tomorrow. Despite her attempts to persuade Vaani, she ultimately leaves, and the inspector takes Raghav into custody. Despite their efforts, Ranjith urges Mishri and the family to back off, noting that she could also end up behind bars. However, Mishri remains determined and promises to secure Raghav’s release from jail.
As Grandpa seeks legal assistance, Mishri attempts to converse with him. Despite this, Sulekha dismisses Mishri’s concern and claims that Raghav’s family can handle the bail independently. She even warns Mishri of possible imprisonment. In the meantime, Ranjith is satisfied, assuming that Mishri will be preoccupied with Raghav’s case and unable to interfere with his plans. Chithra notes that Raghav’s problems started when Mishri came into his life.
Mishri boldly declares to free Raghav from jail, but Parvati quickly shuts it down. Initially, Parvati had faith in Mishri’s ability to safeguard Raghav, but now she agrees with Chithra’s stance that Mishri is causing more trouble. To further prevent any interference from Mishri, Chithra takes the step of locking her in a room. When Supriya raises objections, Sulekha reminds her to stay focused on Raghav rather than the actions of a mere servant.
While in jail, Vaani files her complaint, and Raghav defends himself, claiming he never betrayed her. However, Vaani firmly believes that his punishment is not enough. Desperate to reconcile, Raghav pleads with her to look into his eyes and see that he still loves her. But Vaani, deeply hurt, brings up the incident where she overheard him calling Mishri his wife. Raghav clarifies that she did not hear the entire conversation and admits marrying Mishri only to save her life. He assures Vaani that he does not consider Mishri, his wife and only allows her into their home to get revenge for causing misunderstandings between them. Kalpana cautions Vaani against being swayed by Raghav’s words.
As Mishri makes a desperate attempt to flee, she shatters a window and assists a group of street children in doing the same. Despite receiving counsel from a lawyer to press charges against Vaani, Raghav remains steadfast in his refusal. Parvathi, battling wheezing issues, adamantly refuses to use her inhaler until Raghav agrees to take action against Vaani.
