When Mishri shows up at Vaani’s house, she is immediately questioned by Vaani about the purpose of her visit. Kalpana clarifies that Mishri has come to plead with Vaani to set Raghav free from prison. However, Mishri adamantly denies this and reveals that Raghav has been abusing her. Despite claiming to love Vaani, Raghav never took the step of marrying her. Mishri commends Vaani for sending Raghav to jail and urges her not to let him manipulate or harm any other woman in the future.
As Vaani’s hand prepares to slap Mishri, Kalpana steps in, advising her not to be manipulated by Mishri. She claims that Mishri intentionally tries to stir things up to free Raghav from prison. However, Mishri counters that Raghav deserves punishment for his deeds and should remain behind bars. She even suggests taking legal action against him herself. In response, Vaani orders Mishri to leave or faces the possibility of being sent to jail along with Raghav.
Ranjith later overhears a constable informing the inspector about the school’s CCTV footage being crucial evidence in the molestation case. He believes that taking the footage would ensure he doesn’t get caught. However, his attempt to steal it is unsuccessful. Meanwhile, Parvathi adamantly refuses to use her inhaler despite her family’s worries.
According to Sulekha, Mishri is responsible for the trouble at hand. Despite Raghav’s concern for his mother’s well-being and his pleas for her to use her inhaler, Parvathi insists on following the lawyer’s advice. However, Raghav remains adamant about not pressing charges against Vaani. Sulekha reprimands them for their stubbornness, while Chithra believes things are going in her favour.
As Mishri joins them, she implores Parvathi to let go of her stubbornness. She reasons that Raghav would be guilty if any harm came to Parvathi and perceived himself as unworthy. After some persuasion, Mishri successfully persuades Parvathi to use her inhaler. Meanwhile, Raghav cannot tolerate the mockery from his fellow inmates about his relationship with Mishri and Vaani, causing him anger. Despite his family’s efforts to calm him down, he remains unyielding.
As the prisoners lashed out at Raghav, he crumpled to the ground. The inspector swiftly transferred the inmates to a different cell and stood firm in his decision not to let Raghav’s loved ones near him. However, Mishri persisted in her request, even going as far as threatening to harm herself if she was not granted access. Despite being ignored by the inspector, she resorted to breaking a bottle and injuring her hand, causing a commotion until he relented. Mishri then tended to Raghav’s injuries.
Raghav, worried, inquires about Mishri’s injury. Mishri proceeds to narrate the incident. At that moment, Vaani joins them, mockingly stating that she didn’t mean to disturb their “romantic moment.” Mishri pleads with Vaani to retract her complaint because Raghav requires urgent medical aid. She blames Vaani for separating her from Raghav and alleges that Vaani has brought out her negative side. Despite the request, Vaani stands firm and declines to drop the charges.
Mishri and Sulekha plead with Vaani to direct her anger towards them instead. Kalpana criticizes Sulekha for speaking out against Vaani’s mistake but staying silent regarding her own grandson’s troubles. She demands that Sulekha humbly submit herself by touching her nose to Vaani’s feet. However, Mishri and Raghav urge Sulekha not to do it. Despite their efforts, Vaani remains resolute in her decision. Finally, Mishri confronts Vaani, reminding her of her role as Raghav’s wife.
