The episode opens with tensions brewing in Dhananjay’s household. A relative interrogates Daksh about his wife’s visitors in his absence, making the atmosphere tense. Digvijay steps in, defending Daksh and scolding the man for his disrespect. Daksh’s mother furiously asks the relative to stop harassing her son. Digvijay urges Dhananjay to trust his wife, but Dadi takes Dhananjay’s side and blames Pinky. Narayani tries to calm the situation, but Dhananjay directs his frustration at Pinky again.
Despite Pinky’s attempts to defend Dhananjay, he lashes out. Ishaan intervenes, trying to lighten the mood by reminding everyone that his wedding is near. Narayani sarcastically warns Ishaan to keep Rani in control during the wedding. Dadi declares that any man who marries Rani is bound to be unlucky. Digvijay joins in, cautioning Ishaan to keep Rani in check or she will face consequences.
Rani prepares for the wedding nervously, recalling Digvijay’s harsh words. Bhabi and Devyani encourage her to remain calm. Meanwhile, shopping preparations begin for the groom’s side. Ishaan’s family arrives at the store with Digvijay, who is annoyed about missing an appointment for shopping. Ishaan teases him about Rani, prompting Digvijay to playfully threaten him in return.
While selecting a saree for Rani, Ishaan calls Devyani to ask for Rani’s ring size. She tells him she’s at Rani’s house, where the groom’s family is visiting. Back at Rani’s home, Digvijay warns her to behave in front of Mrs. Memani, claiming the hospital is tough work and she should focus on household duties. Narayani overhears and instructs Devyani to keep Rani away from the wedding altogether.
When Mrs. Memani meets the family, she shocks everyone by announcing that her son likes Rani—but there’s a catch. She makes it clear that Rani will be treated like family but must give up her education. Rani, remembering her late mother’s wishes and Digvijay’s words, bravely asks if she can continue studying post-marriage. Mrs. Memani firmly declines.
Seeking support, Rani turns to Niranjan, but he remains silent. Rani pleads with Mrs. Memani, emphasizing that continuing her studies is her dream. However, the proposal starts to crumble.
As the shopping trip concludes, the family returns. While Ishaan accidentally bumps into Daksh, the saree falls, adding to the tension. Mrs. Memani, offended by the situation and Rani’s insistence on education, calls off the marriage proposal.
Rani confronts the groom directly, asking if he objects to her. But it’s Mrs. Memani who ends the discussion, walking away as everyone tries to reason with her. Meanwhile, Daksh gives the fallen saree to his mother, and when Ishaan is asked about it, he openly admits he bought it for Rani.
