Upon receiving the order to arrest them, Vedika begins to list why they shouldn’t be taken into custody. However, the officer reassured her that it would only be for two days and that they could appear in court on Monday. Despite this, Vedika stands her ground, stating that her father cannot go to jail. In the commotion, Sagar manages to catch her before she falls. As he holds onto her, Vedika looks into his eyes, and he remembers the good times he shared with Jhanvi and how happy he was. Turning to the officer, Sagar demands his thoughts on the matter, but Vedika interjects again, trying to explain that it was all instigated by his family. Fuming with anger, Sagar is ready to defend himself and his family.
She says for the first time that she has seen Saraswathi’s eyes, and she questions what is in that Vedika. Digvijay says that Maa should not mention her name in front of him, but she will now be taught a lesson. Digvijay says he is arresting her father. Rajeshwari asks if he cannot see what Vedika can do to them. Digvijay asks what she could do, and Rajeshwari says that Vedika now works for Sagar’s office.
Vedika pleads with Sagar to ensure her father does not get arrested; Sagar replies she should not do anything of the sort since he will handle everything. Rajeshwari says Vedika is now the lawyer of Dayal, and if he comes out, she will reveal the truth about their past in the present. Digvijay says everything will be fine now, but Rajeshwari wonders why he does not see Vedika stealing their son.
Sagar asks Vedika what is the total loan amount. Vedika gives him the bar code, so he pays the amount. Sagar stops the Inspector, asking the reason behind the arrest, and the vendor reveals the amount that was transferred to his account. Sagar says the rules with which they were arresting him, and the inspector warns he does not know who he is messing with,
The inspector gets worried after Sagar says he has no idea anything else but just that he is Sagar Maheshwari, so he leaves with the vendor. Sagar thanks Vedika, who is pleased, but Vedika’s father assures him that he will pay the entire amount back, so Sagar helps Vedika and her father sit at the same table and even offers them water.
Suphedra says that she has brought the garland she requested, and Digvijay says that she should change it on the photo placed down. Suphedra asks what he means when he says not to be worried. Digvijay says his son has excluded him from everything, and she went to celebrate with him. Suphedra pleaded with them, but Digvijay asked if they could forgive her mistake,
Saraswathi inquires about the topic of conversation, but Digvijay begins to angrily question if she is trying to dictate how he speaks to his wife. He reminds her that they were the ones who arranged Saraswathi’s marriage to Kamal after Gautham’s passing, or else she may have had to seek refuge elsewhere. Rajeshwari believes that Digvijay needs to assert his authority over Saraswathi. Meanwhile, Kamal fumes as Saraswathi takes a seat.
Vedika’s mother inquires about Sagar’s surname, to which he responds that it may not have been to their liking, but it is beyond their control. Consequently, Kishori Lal and his wife depart. Vedika wonders how Sagar was aware of this situation, and he explains that his father tends to act impulsively in anger. Grateful for his support, she thanks him again. Sagar playfully reminds her of how many times she has thanked him and advises her not to be late for work tomorrow. He also mentions that he will visit her later, while she should stay with her parents for the time being.
Rajeshwari hugs Saraswathi and tells her that this is the problem with the wives of today who know how to be good mothers but not wives, no matter whether the children are alive or not, then Saraswathi runs away saying she should not speak about her daughters in this way.
As Sagar apologizes to Vedika for what she is suffering, Vedika also wonders whether she should trust Sagar Maheshwari and why he is against his father. Sagar believes she was hired because she is good and is fighting the case of Dayal, who was responsible for the death of his uncle Gautham,
Digvijay seems like a criminal to Vedika, and Grandmothers are usually charming, but she doesn’t seem nice to her. In Sagar’s car, he believes he will finally meet the one he has been searching for since childhood. Vedika thinks Saraswathi’s aunty is the only one in that family who is nice and genuine. She feels happy just thinking about her, but she does not know how to survive in this family.
In the night, Saraswathi thinks about how Digvijay talked to her. Kamal brings a glass of water for her, and she, with shivering hands, starts drinking it. Kamal apologizes to her, and she says he hasn’t done anything. He replies because he was unable to do anything. Digvijay humiliated her in front of everyone, and he felt very pain hearing those words, but he couldn’t do anything about it,
As Saraswathi points out, Digvijay and Maa did nothing wrong because if she had been thrown out of the house and had he refused to accept her, she might not have survived, and her desire to search for her daughters might have ended years ago. She apologizes to Kamal for not being a lovely wife and for constantly thinking about her daughters.
The people of his house misbehave with his wife in front of his eyes, but Kalmal cannot do anything since he has no respect in this house, so the person who cannot speak out for his rights can’t. Saraswathi asks him if she can ask him something, and she asks for Vedika’s address. As Saraswathi wonders why she thinks Vedika is her Jhanvi, she asks why.

Vedika’s mother asks why she has set the third plate. Vedika says she has no idea why she feels as though someone is going to come. Saraswathi stands at the entrance of their house, looking at Vedika. Sagar tells Vedika she should fight Dayal’s case at their law firm.
