Rajeshwari questions who Vedika is and furiously slaps her, shocking Padma and KishoriLal. Sagar rushes to help Vedika stand up. Kishorilal says it is enough and tries to walk ahead, but Himat suffocates him. Vedika runs to help her father. Sagar tries to follow them but is stopped by Rajeshwari. He punches Himat in the face, then asks Kishori Lal if he is fine and helps him sit down.

Sagar questions how Himmat dared to raise his hand against Kishori Lal. Meanwhile, Digvijay is curious about Sagar’s intentions. However, Sagar warns his father to stay out of the situation. He then turns to Rajeshwari and inquires if she comprehends the severity of the matter. Sagar explains that Vedika comes from a respectable family, with her father being a teacher, yet they have resorted to hiring criminals to their house. Rajeshwari expresses her concerns about Vedika’s influence on Sagar and how she has instilled hatred towards his own family. She also notes that Vedika has taken her job of creating chaos intentionally and warns Digvijay to understand this was all pre-planned.

Saraswathi was preparing to do pooja, where the necklace would be offered, so she sent her parents out of the city but came here to assist them. Vedika says it is all a lie. Sagar says he told Saraswathi that he and Vedika would help her. Rajeshwari mentions that Vedika has convinced Saraswathi that she is just like her daughters, whom she lost, so Rajeshwari asks if it was also his decision to have Vedika stay here for three days.

Initially, Rajeshwari questions Saraswathi, but Vedika points out she decided to stay here for three days. Rajeshwari asks if everyone heard, and Vedika states she wants to assist Saraswathi during the pooja. Rajeshwari believes Vedika knew Saraswathi and Sagar were very close, so she started acting like she loved him. Rajeshwari mentions her Grandson was young, so he was distracted, whereas Vedika was very clever and called Sagar into her room on the first night.

Sagar reassures that there is no need for concern. Padma suggests that Rajeshwari may involve the police if she suspects them of stealing the necklace but urges her not to accuse her daughter. In response, Rajeshwari clarified that she would never use such strong language and advised patience as this is only the beginning. Sagar cautions his grandmother about the severity of the situation, while Saraswathi pleads with her mother to stop focusing on material possessions and remember the value of human dignity. Rajeshwari agrees, acknowledging that a young girl’s reputation is worth more than anything, but notes that some people will do anything for money.

Padma asks Rajeshwari to stop insisting that it is enough. Rajeshwari points out that, unlike Sagar, she is familiar with manipulative women. She questions if any parent would willingly send their young daughter to live with a young son in the same household. Vedika interjects, explaining that her parents were unaware of the situation. But Rajeshwari confidently states that Vedika had planned everything with her parents’ knowledge. Sagar interrupts his grandmother, telling her to stop accusing Vedika and trying to tarnish her character as she is not like those other girls.

Rajeshwari replies that she is also saying that Sagar does not know anything since he is the future of the Maheshwari family, and she does not want Vedika to end his life by using him as a pawn. Although Saraswathi has provided so much proof, Rajeshwari says she is amazed that she is raising this question, but Vedika remains silent as she cannot speak. Saraswathi asks Vedika to tell it,

When Rajeshwari covers Saraswathi’s head and says, “You must swear on your life that you did not open the safe,” Vedika explains the situation. Rajeshwari apologizes and says she would not make a false vow based on Saraswathi’s lie. Vedika tries to turn around, but Saraswathi stops her, telling her she cannot take a false vow. She then asked Vedika to repeat the statement, asking if she knew the safe’s code and if she had opened it.

Vedika declares she cannot make a false oath on her life, causing Rajeshwari and Digvijay to grin while the rest of the guests are stunned. Despite admitting to opening the safe, Vedika maintains there is a valid explanation. Rajeshwari queries if everyone heard Vedika’s confession and wants to hear Saraswathi’s thoughts on the matter. Vedika attempts to explain herself, but Saraswathi retorts that she saw her beloved Jhanvi in Vedika and considered her like a daughter, yet she still stole the necklace.

Vedika pleads with Saraswathi to listen to her, but Saraswathi shuts her out and confesses that she had given all the love meant for her daughters to Vedika. She had even provided Vedika with food and clothing. She entrusted her with the responsibility of the pooja, but Vedika disregarded it all for the sake of money, using motherhood as an excuse. Despite Vedika’s attempts to defend herself, Saraswathi reminds her that this family had given her a new life and sustained her all these years through Rajeshwari’s support. She adds that Vedika has disgraced herself in front of everyone present and demands that she leave the house immediately with her parents.

When the police inspector enters through the main door with the constables, Vedika slowly walks to her parents. She helps her mother stand up, then starts walking out of the Maheshwari family when Sagar is furious. Rajeshwari and Digvijay start smiling. Rajeshwari asks Vedika why she thinks she can leave so quickly, and then she smiles at Vedika.

Precap:

When Vedika asks what this is, the officer says it is testimony that they stole the necklace, and Vedika agrees. When the Inspector begins torturing Vedika and her family, Sagar asks Saraswathi to think with her heart for a moment whether she believes Vedika can do anything of the sort.
