In the Maheshwari Mansion, the Inspector enters, shocking Vedika, Padma, Kishori Lal, and Sagar. Rajeshwari asks Vedika why she thought she would come here to steal and why they’d let her go so quickly. Sagar tells his grandmother they found the necklace, but what’s the point? Rajeshwari replies that he won’t tell her what to do because it wasn’t just about the necklace, and Vedika messed up their self-respect, so she’d pay the price.
As Rajeshwari orders the Inspector to remove Vedika, Digvijay smiles at seeing her being taken away. Rajeshwari advises the Inspector to put all of them in handcuffs since Vedika loves jewelry, and the handcuffs would fit her well. Sagar seems very worried but cannot do anything to stop them. Saraswathi requests Maa to stop them, but Rajeshwari orders her to return to her room, and then she pushes Saraswathi towards Kamal.
Sagar tries to stop the inspector, but he holds Vedika’s hand, and Vedika gets restless, asking how she pushed Saraswathi like this. When Sagar asks Vedika why she opened the safe, Rajeshwari signals Digvijay, who orders Suphedra to stop him. Vedika reveals she is trying to find proof about Gautham’s death. Rajeshwari warns Sagar not to believe her,
After Suphedra threatens Sagar with seeing her dead body if he supports Vedika, the inspector takes Vedika away and asks if Sagar sir trusts her. Sagar recalls the day when Rajeshwari pulled his hands away from Jhanvi when they got into a car. Vedika is taken away from the Maheshwari Mansion, Rajeshwari makes the same sign, and Sagar declares he trusts Vedika even more than himself.
Vedika approaches the Inspector, explaining that she needs to make a call. The inspector insists that she signs a document, but Vedika refuses, exclaiming that it’s ridiculous. The lady inspector offers to release her quickly if she signs, but Vedika stands firm, threatening to go to the High Court and file a complaint with the senior officer. The Inspector then instructs a lady constable to demonstrate the consequences of not signing by unlocking Padma and subjecting her to torture. This distresses Vedika, but the Constables warn her not to interfere with their job.
The Male Inspector continues to slap Kishori Lal repeatedly. Despite Vedika’s warning that her mother is a heart patient and corrupt officers will be punished, he doesn’t listen. Eventually, Vedika relents and agrees to sign the confession. Kishori urges her not to sign as they are innocent, but Vedika is about to when both Padma and Kishori plead with her. Despite their pleas, she signs it, and the constables leave. Even though Vedika begs to see her father, they refuse. She can’t stop crying.
During the preparation of the food, Saraswathi tries to convince Sagar that Vedika is innocent. He asks her how she can suspect Vedika and think that she stole the necklace. Sagar replies that it’s all a lie, but Saraswathi turns to see Rajeshwari standing before her. Sagar is free to live his life with closed eyes, but why is he forcing Saraswathi to do the same?
Having suffered a massive trauma and is very hurt, Saraswathi says she can cry all she desires but shouldn’t blame Sagar. He asks what he did, and Rajeshwari replies that he is letting go of Vedika’s mistakes. As his grandmother, she tells him he should trust her because she’s seen the world, and it’s not a good thing to deny the truth. Sagar responds that it’s not the truth and Vedika did not steal the necklace,
Rajeshwari expresses that she is willing to endure his frustration but asks him to consider Saraswathi’s condition, who has spent half her life searching for her lost daughters. She trusted someone for so many years, only to be deeply hurt by that person. Sagar argues against this, but Rajeshwari pleads with him to think about Saraswathi and not cause her pain. She reminds Sagar that criminals must be held accountable for their actions and serve time for their crimes.
Sagar, a professional lawyer, agrees and assures that he will take necessary action. He pleads with Saraswathi to listen to her heart and consider whether she still believes Vedika to be a thief. However, Saraswathi is unable to comprehend the situation. As Sagar walks away, Rajeshwari approaches Saraswathi with a smile and comforts her. She reveals that Vedika has signed a confession, and they will soon be behind bars for good. In response, Saraswathi prays for Sagar’s belief to come true.
Vedika gets up in the cell, thinking she trusts Koyal, but her mother manipulates her. She vows to free her parents of this charge, even if it means going against her.
After Mauri enters the room and commends Rajeshwari for their newfound wealth, Koyal inquires about their next steps. Mauri informs her that they must relocate to a new city and start over. Koyal considers speaking with Rajeshwari, but Mauri reminds her of the humiliation Vedika inflicted upon them. Koyal defends Vedika, stating that she also works hard, but Mauri believes otherwise and warns Koyal to stay away from her. Despite Koyal’s persistence, Mauri stops her.
Padma tells Vedika she should not have signed the confession, as how would she prove her innocence now? The inspector replies that nothing can happen, and they have her confession. Vedika says anything signed while under police custody can’t be used to prove their crimes. In response, Sagar replies that there is no need for it, and the inspector and lady constable get worried seeing Sagar.
