Vedika argues that a confession signed in police custody cannot be concrete evidence in court. The Inspector, however, resorts to threats once again. Undeterred, Sagar calmly states that there is no need for such tactics and proceeds towards the cell. Observing this, Vedika feels relieved and grateful towards her Sagar. He assures her that he has solid proof to back their claims despite the inspector’s claims of his lack of authority. To everyone’s surprise, Sagar presents video evidence of their threats against Vedika and her family. As she admires him, Vedika reminisces when she asks him if he trusts her.
Sagar informs the inspector of his desire to see Vedika, prompting him to instruct Sanjay to open the lock. Once inside, Sagar is granted permission to meet Vedika. Padma questions why he has come after his family’s mistreatment, while Kishori Lal brings up their accusations against Vedika’s character. Sagar clarified that he intended to apologize and rectify the situation. He pulls Vedika aside, acknowledges her strength and resilience, but reminds her that it’s okay to cry. If she still refuses to cry, he threatens to do so himself.
As Vedika embraces Sagar, tears begin to flow down her face. Her emotional outburst takes aback Padma and Kishori Lal. Sagar motions for Padma to take a seat. After regaining her composure, Vedika allows Sagar to wipe away her tears. He probes into why she visited the safe, questioning why she didn’t inform him beforehand. With a trembling voice, Vedika reveals that she overheard Rajeshwari mam confiding in Digvijay about a red file containing all their secrets. Sagar is disappointed that she didn’t share this information with him sooner. In response, Vedika explains that she was trying to gather evidence before accusing anyone. Exasperated, Sagar asks if Vedika fails to see that she is being set up.
Vedika remembers overhearing Rajeshwari mam talking to Digvijay. He claimed that Dadi had set her up and had already decided to accuse Vedika of stealing the necklace. Vedika was confused and denied any involvement. Sagar then asked her if she knew who took the necklace. She replied that it didn’t matter since the necklace had been found. This made Sagar more worried as he asked Vedika what she intended to do and whom she was trying to protect after causing problems for her family.
Sagar demands to know the identity of the culprit. Vedika, who had considered Koyal, her sister, reveals that it was Koyal and her mother who stole the necklace. She admits seeing them in the act but claims she convinced Koyal to put it back. Sagar questions why Vedika is protecting Koyal, to which Vedika insists she is certain Koyal would not have willingly stolen or kept the necklace. Just then, Sagar receives a joyful text and immediately turns to the Inspector, commanding him to release Vedika and her family. He proudly announces that he has secured their bail and has solid evidence to prove their innocence.
As Sagar shows it to Vedika, Vedika inquires how he got it. Sagar recalls when Lali Bua kept insisting that he upload the reels that she had made, and she said the mother of Koyal appeared on the last reel. Sagar asks Lali Bua to send him this video. Sagar turns to the Inspector asking him to look at the timing, Vedika mentions that this means her suspicion was right that the mother of Koyal didn’t listen to her warning.
While listening to the news, Mauri is startled by Koyal’s sudden arrival. She learns that Vedika allegedly stole a necklace and asks Koyal if she can trust the news report. Despite considering Vedika as her sister, Koyal reveals that Vedika had stopped them from stealing earlier so she could do it herself. As Mauri receives a call from the booking officer and leaves, Koyal struggles to believe that Vedika would engage in such behavior. She recalls how Vedika had scolded them for stealing, claiming it was a crime. Now, she is uncertain what to believe and questions whether their mother is telling the truth.
The Inspector must return Vedika’s belongings, which she claims were mistakenly confiscated. However, it is not his responsibility to use physical force on her parents and coerce her into signing a confession. Sagar takes a photo of the document as proof that it remains unaltered. Despite having great respect for law enforcement, Vedika’s opinion of individuals like him will not be swayed. As the Inspector approaches Vedika, Sagar intervenes and personally requests that she sign the papers.
Sagar feels they should get Koyal’s mother arrested and asks Vedika if she knows her house, to which she replies that she also thinks he should stay away from it. As Vedika turns to Padma and Kishori, they both say that they would have thought she was not their daughter. Padma explains that she is their daughter and hugging her tightly. Sagar offers to drop them off at Koyal’s house when Vedika gets a phone call from Koyal.
Vedika answers the call from Koyal, who says she wants to meet her. Vedika also agrees but asks about the location. Sagar, standing behind, asks what happened. Vedika makes an excuse, saying the court needs some formal papers. Sagar says he can send the office boy, but Vedika replies she must go herself.
As Vedika and Koyal stand before each other, memories flood back. They had once been inseparable, like sisters. One memory resurfaces for both of them – the day they exchanged gifts. Vedika can’t help but wonder why Koyal did everything she did. Koyal counters by asking if the same could be said for Vedika. As Vedika defends herself by saying she ended their friendship, Koyal admits to lying but also mentions that Vedika stole her necklace. She then proceeds to show a video as evidence, to which Vedika argues it was all a set-up. However, Koyal remains unconvinced and refuses to believe her side of the story.
Mauri inquires about Vedika’s presence, claiming full knowledge of Koyal and her potential wrongdoings. She wonders who will assist them in getting out of jail and questions Koyal’s inability to see through Vedika’s trap. However, Koyal remains skeptical. Vedika defends herself, denying any involvement in the theft and accusing Mauri of being the true culprit. Just then, the police arrive with Sagar not far behind. Mauri reminds Koyal of her previous warnings against meeting Vedika while Sagar approaches them.
